MY FUCKING CHILDHOOD ALL IN ONE HOUR !
Man I wish I could go back in time when the most important thing was watching the new Dragonball/Dragonball Z episode on TOONAMI. That was the life.
lol sure why not'
RIIIIGHT.
RIGHT? God. Those were the best times ♥
I wish there were old toonami tapes for sale, SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!
The funny thing is I probably watched these live when they first aired
Ah the nostalgia of the golden days of Toonami, back when cartoons on television weren't shit.
Before Anime streaming, There was Toonami. 👍👍👍
The early 2000s were a great time to be alive.
Unless your parents were turds
Bro you have no idea it was amazing time to be alive
Brings back so much memories i use to watch this every evening
The year I started watching Toonami. So many memories.
Damn i was 7 years old in 2002. Time goes by fast
I was 5 I remember this
god, i miss the old #toonami , best weekdays of my life
I remember watching Toonami a lot on Cartoon Network back in the day. Mon-Fri weekday afternoons and Saturday midnight run! Man it made you feel like you were in a whole other world outer space with a bunch of action packed anime and DC cartoons. Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, Gundam, Batman Beyond, Superman: TAS, Justice League, SWAT Kats, One Piece, Zatch Bell, etc. Perfect side to CN along with the other Cartoon Cartoons and blocks that were on the channel! Thanks for uploading these bumpers man!!!
2002 was the year of amazing
I’m just here for the drum and bass

Gundam, Zoids, Tenchi Muyo, Dragon ball, Dragon ball z, 12 years old after school.. some of my best memories

These shows of mine glow with an awesome nostalgia. They tell me to watch more G Gundam!
God, this was one of the peaks of my childhood. I fucking love old school anime so much 🥰🥰The whole aesthetic of toonami was so damn comfy. I'm sinking into my bed just watching these. Sorry if I sound weird. I'm really baked rn
G Gundam, Zoids, Transformers Armada, He Man, Batman Beyond, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, etc. were my favorite shows that aired on Toonami
2001 2002 was the best year for Cartoon Network period
That's a fact 💯
This was my shit. G Gundam and DBZ. Awesome
Had to be there
Nostalgia!
When the cell saga hit… man….

LET THE FUN BEGIN MAJIN BUU
Bumps are the reason I live.
10/10
This has triggered the very depths of my memory

Sailor Moon, dragon ball Z, he-man masters of the universe, Batman, Superman, and many other great shows!
If it wasn’t for toonami, I would not be the anime fan that I am today.

My fav. is the Master Roshi bump. How often do you get the chance to show the animation difference of the same character, like 10 years apart. (Even though there's not much change, since Roshi is practically ageless.)
Hmm, guess I didn't notice it back then but the lineup for 2002 kind of sucked for weekday slots. 3 shows? and then they are played in reverse order? wow, I'm guessing this was either during the summer where there wasn't any new programming being brought in or this was near Weekday Toonami's end.
Either way, it was still 3 kickass shows that I loved.
*****
those three shows kicked ass along with outlaw star. in my opinion they were 10 times better shows than dbz even though it was king of the block. yeah i watched it religiously back in the day like everyone else but looking back at it, there were better shows that had better characters and better handling of them, better worlds, better story, better action, etc.
400th like!
2nd grade nightmare
