They are weighted heavily so they can comfort you like a weighted blanket and relieve anxiety, depression, and PTSD

Most of my adult life has been a mental health roller coaster. I have tried to get help along the way, but really had to hit rock bottom when my marriage broke down a year ago to start the upward climb. Congratulations on the progress you've made so far and on your sweet little therapy baby! Thank you for your beautiful openness.

I'm 58 yrs old and I have found recently that cuddling a reborn doll has been self soothing and comforting ❤️
I'll have to look in to this cuddle baby. I also find comfort in God's word the Bible along with talking with God and pouring out my heart 💜 to him 😊

I have situational, depression, and you’re right, dolls do help you feel better at least for me. I have the real as can be baby dolls from baby alive that bring me so much joy. I love my other dolls, too, but my two real as can be babies help me through tough times.😁

I think any hobby can be used for mental health therapy. Me, I love to craft, collect reborns and barbie dolls and many other things. In my case it's just my everyday life that drives me crazy, so when I make reborn videos, craft mini dollhouse stuff and crochet, even watch movies and whatever will give me that escape, is a great help to me. Sorry to hear u were in the hospital. Yes I totally agree that self care is first and foremost. The Lavender push and heating pad are great items to have for.self care purposes. Nice to see you again. Happy you are feeling a little better. Thank you for talking about topic. I have several cuddle babies as they help me with my PTSD Anxiety and panic disorder. I've tried so many different therapy routes and ideas throughout the years and it's hard it's a really difficult and slow process. It's really a life long journey to deal with..but it can be under control. I've gotten so bad especially after covid. I only leave my home for a dr appointment and even that is very difficult for me. I fear so many things and it stops me from being in any situation where harm can possibly come to me. I Stay home for months at a time.. and that's not good for my mental health either.. it's a cycle. I even stopped going to Walmart and that was my special day out once a week.. lol these babies do bring me great joy and comfort. Since I was a little girl I've always loved all dolls... they were always there for me no matter what.

I struggle with depression as well. I am also working on self care and have a couple of silicone babies and they work wonders in a world of chaos. So calming. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I got my Reborns for anxiety and depression. Over the last four years, my depression is gone and most of my anxiety. I credit my dolls for that.
I relate. I have a multitude of mental health problems but it’s different for me. I started getting attached more when I was diagnosed with PCOS but once I got on meds it went away mostly until recently. I’m having extreme malevolent symptoms from my reproductive system and am waiting on an ultrasound. A lot of the symptoms match with ovarian cancer and other things. I’m not even 20 yet. I recently bought my first silicone baby and am waiting on her but my emotions have made me really stressed and connected to my dolls. I fear I will probably be infertile. I’m a trans man but I still wanted bio children later in life. Now I’m not even sure if I’ll have a decent quality of life. Thankfully the preparation for Willow (my silicone) has been helping stabilize me.

At a time cuddling your baby when you feel at your worst that’s what l do when l am feeling down and just need something to cuddle l hold and cuddle one of my reborns and that helps me a lot take care of your self and love your new baby!!!

There’s a company that will make realistic clones of your pet. Not live clone but a stuffed animal type. I can’t remember the name of the company but you can google it.
These baby dolls do really help, and i'm getting my babies soon as well. Im really excited, im only 15 and I struggle quite a bit with depression and anxiety. I love reborns, and your channel.

I experienced schizophrenia PTSD anxiety depression and hearing voices when I get to stressed out I get voices back and they louder and I sleep with my reborns and they help me sleep better at night

I just ordered my first full body silicone for my mental health. I’m 46 and have grown kids and two very small granddaughters. My arms ache and I miss being a mommy. I love holding/ dressing babies. It’s my business and it helps me. Im not hurting anyone, including myself. I also lost a baby.
I have PTSD and emotional trauma due to growing up in an abusive environment. My reborn dolls have helped me in more ways than one. Part of that PTSD is from an unwanted tubal ligation I was forced into at 19.
I have found my mental health worse since my fathers sudden death last year, and my having had strokes prior did not help either, but I was handling it okay until the death, i guess the whole experience was so traumatic for me, I have two cuddle babies that I hold on too dearly when I am stressed or having an anxiety attack, my mom is now like when I am having an attack the first thing she asks is do you have one of your babies with you? I have two one I purchased and one I made, I also carry my reborn because she is weighted very nice. Just wanted to thank you for this youtube vlog, I so appreciate it...Hopefully things get better for both of us.
