I'm doing a calligraphy artwork for one of my coworkers and I have to trace a person onto the wood. Watching this makes sense of how to trace the outline of what you're doing onto the wood and go over it with the burning tool.

@@MacGyverK 저도 이번에 처음 우드버닝을 납땜하는 인두기로 해봤습니다. 재미난데.. 너무 실력이 딸려서.. 얼마나 연습해야 될지 모르겠네요..ㅠ.ㅠ
납땜인두는 인두봉대가 길어서 작업이 더 어렵죠 우드버닝기를 구입해서 쓰거나 아님 개조가 필요합니다^^

Which is the eraser function?

It's not an eraser, it's a heated fan. Heat the tip to burn the wood and draw.

Pretty nice results for a DIY burner, I have one of the fancy ones and can make my own tips but those are expensive - mine was a present, never would have bought it haha

Que tipos de madera son recomendables para este tipo de grabados..???🤔
Se recomienda utilizar principalmente madera blanda.
Se recomiendan pino, arce, castaño, etc.

Can you use greaseproof paper or does it have to be paper. And can I also ask what was the foil that you were using underneath
It's called carbon paper. It can be purchased at any office supply store, and if you are good at it, you can draw without using this paper.

So many people have asked you for the font name, but you haven't answered noe isngle person (I just scrolled thru all of the comments), for some, myself included, it would be very helpful to know which font you used please? Or if you don't want to say, at least respond and say so, so we don't waste our time scrolling to see if the reason you're not responding, is because you've already done so, only to find out you haven't. Thank you, and even though I find it frustrating not to know the font, I enjoyed watching your video and feel I'll be able to try this out, once I have my kit.

I put carbon paper under the print paper and used it
Next time I get a chance, I'll make a video about how to draw without using carbon paper.

Would it be better to stain the wood afterwards… right? I want do this for a sign outside in the weather 365 a year thinking stain/ sealer would help prolong the life spans
