Bride Surprises Groom With Custom Love Song

This day and this wedding video are rooted in story and legacy-
A day stock full of moments. I really don’t have the words to adequately portray my feelings towards it all or even describe it in a way that does it justice.
The day after these two went on their first date, after finding one another through a dating app within 15 minutes of downloading it, they each individually, without knowing the other was doing so, wrote one another a letter that they would give each other on their wedding day.
They knew right away that they had found their person. And the beginning of their film starts off with one of those letters, setting the scene for a truly one of a kind love story.
I opened this film with a shot of the birds and leaned into the natural element of wind throughout the film, without knowing Leanna’s tie to both of these natural elements on her wedding day.
This film is filled with serendipitous moments like that that I don’t even have time to write about. But it’s all there. I had to put it all there. Leaving a detail out just didn’t feel right.
I think sometimes the wedding industry makes you feel like you have to curate moments and “create something”. I am a firm believer that we are there to listen and create from there with honesty and legacy at the forefront.
Their film focuses on how they are loved by and love on those around them. They wrote individual love letters to all of their guests for them to open when they found their seat at the reception.
I could go on….
The core elements I want my clients to take away from reminiscing on their wedding day through their film is the magic that makes up their lives, love and relationship and the legacy they will forever have encapsulated.
This is one of my longer films, so thanks if you stay through the entirety. I am always so mindful of length and pacing, but when I started to remove anything for the sake of attention span, it wasn’t working and wasn’t the experience I wanted to give my clients. This was just one of those days stock full of moments. I’m so honored I was able to capture it for them!
