    Some extra tips:
Watch out for black’s e5 pawn push to force your bishop away from f4, and then e4 to fork your knight and bishop on f3 and d3. So make sure black can never successfully make that e5, e4 pawn push. They usually play Re8, Qe7, d6, Nc6, and Bd6 to allow them to push their e pawn.
If you want to avoid this, just put your light-square bishop on e2 instead of d3, or make sure to take the e5 black pawn with your d4 pawn.
Put your Queen on c2 if your bishop is on d3 and instead of castling kingside, wait to see what your opponent will do. I played the London exclusively from 1100 to 1650, and waiting, then deciding queenside or kingside castling allows for some enjoyable games and tactics and sacrifices on the kingside. Queenside castling allows you to attack their kingside-castled king a lot easier and more enjoyably, but it also makes your king more vulnerable to their queenside attack.
Your aim in the London is to develop, castle, then stick a knight on e5. Your knight on e5 is very strong. Black will often have the following setup, especially at 900 to 1300 elo: Nc6, Nf6, Bd6. Here, you can usually play Ne5 (as long as there is no white bishop on g5, pinning your knight to your Queen. With a bishop on e2 this doesn’t matter), and if they take with their c6 knight, you can fork their bishop and knight with dxe5. If they take with the bishop, the same dxe5 forces their f6 knight away from defending the g4 square, which often has a black bishop on, which you can take with your light square bishop on e2 if they play incorrectly and move their knight first, before trading light square bishops.
After their knight moves from f6, usually to d7, you can play either f4 or Nf3, depending on whether your bishop is on g3 or f4. After this, you have a partially open d file, which you can place your queenside rook on, either by just moving it, or castling queenside if you’re feeling bold. This lines up your rook and their queen on the same file. You can then push e4 or c4 to open up the e file.
And of course, not castling at all is an option. Never think you HAVE to castle. The London is flexible. When I played the London, I castled kingside 60% of the time, queenside 30%, and not at all 10%.

I still don't want to get caught up in knowing all these different approaches. Yet, having been introduced to a few systems to this point, I see the value of grasping a system that appeals to me so I can conduct a decent opening and start to "play chess." I once played london system without even knowing any openings and it surprised me how easy the rest of the game felt and cheakmated my opponent in just 4-5 minutes.

The reason I watch you is because of your humor. You make such a boring game super exciting, and we don't get why it's exciting at first, so you explain why it's exciting, and now we're excited

If you're here to hate on London system remember that it's not all in learning opening moves. Also try playing Dutch defence, you can offer bishop trade on d6 early in the opening
