Thank you for describing and demonstrating this beautiful machine. You have inspired me to look for one. Was the music on the reel your own compilation or was it a commercially available compilation? And if so can you give me the name of the recording? Thank you.
Hello I have unit in great shape except it stopped recording I do have a full restoration kit Would you be willing to restore it to specs and change wgst is needed of course with remuneration I live in MA in US Thank you
@@delatronics3257 you are right It would be too costly Thank you though Crazy that can’t find someone who wants or can repair Many people claim they know and actually they don’t and can’t continue to pay for those people who don’t know
th-cam.com/video/9LOCAyX5qQM/w-d-xo.html Here's a man who posted a video on faster spooling. He bought a pcb that switches on the other spooling motor as well. He is very pleased with it. He talks Dutch or Flemish, but I bet he shows things, too.
Sorry, I sold all my stock in the UK and I now live in Brazil, where the tape machine craze has not caught on yet. TBH the pandemic is not helping much either!
Good look but bad hardware insite. This recorder is design trap. Behind nice design is creepy and cheap DC motors, stupid belts as source of technical fails. Technically this is junk. Is better to own GX 635 or 636 (for example) wich is great machines.

No problem! I am not sure of the classical music but it's either Bach or Hyden, the pop is Sofie Ellis Bexter and Brotherhood of Lizards.

@@mctwentyone I sold the one in the video for £455 but at the moment I would think the prices would have fallen slightly.
