I had that deck years ago and I remember two things about it. It was super heavy and it had the fastest rewind on any deck that I ever saw in my lifetime. I think it was from 1967.
@@JoshGarsideMeyers it seems like it winds at least 1/16 of an inch of tape per second or more as it's getting toward the end. It's probably more than that. It does seem like it's not gentle to tape at that speed. It makes incredible recordings though.

Lmao, I have a 1964 and the rewind speed is SCARY. It has to weigh 83 lbs so that it doesn't take off
