Too bad Honda got rid of their Goldwing cross country touring bike and built the Goldwinglette over-nighter. Good luck with the helmet and soon they will just hand you a man bag to store your stuff in and still attempt to call it a touring bike. 10% less bike for a higher price ;) Like a horse pill, if they keep stuffing it down your throat, sooner or later you're going to swallow it.
That's sad. Unlike BMW. BMW maintained and improved every aspect. As seen in the K1600 Grand America. Smaller cc but bigger punch than the softy GoldWing.
They have not gotten rid of the long haul version. THey just now xcall it the "Goldwing Tour" whereas thus bagger verson is called simply "Goldwing".
I have BMW k1200gt full touring bike. I can pack this bike honestly for two weeks straight camping or one month with hotel stays with actual change of clothes. That includes two helmets with coms in the top case so we don’t need to constantly drag helmets around at every stop or hang the off the bike. The new Honda Winglette is a weekender, the previous model was a full touring bike. Sadly Honda just keeps letting the yes man in the board room take lead. I mean they totally buried the 1300ST which was a fantastic bike, then the yes man took over. You don’t remove 15% of the Goldwing and still a full “touring” motorcycle. It was and now it is not.
Back end looks awful
I agree. BMW K1600 Grand America looks way better! 👌
