Oh My God. I've never seen anyone pull off the targaryen conquerors' story, at least in a fan video. But you did it so much damn justice, I nearly want a prequel miniseries produced by HBO based off of your vision (as with such other backstories to the ASOIAF universe but anyways...). You just made this epic as it could be and the relationship between Aegon and his sister-wives was just so interesting, especially in your interpretation of them. I adore your spin on Visenya and Aegon's relationship to being apathetic, from what we know in the books, to being this passionate hate/love position. In my own headcannon (based on the video and previous ideas) I always thought Aegon was only really meant to marry Visenya, even though polygamy was allowed, but was so in love with his younger, 'lovelier' sister but still wanted to keep to his duty, that he married both. And Visenya somewhat resented him for not loving her as he did Rhaenys, but slightly wishes he had just married Rhaenys alone, because she didn't like her younger brother much. If there was anything I genuinely want to critique is that I kind of wished I saw a little more dynamic between these sisters, only because I feel you imply that Visenya very much loved Rhaenys when she dies. I want to know if there were any resentment and bitterness at all between the sisters, in your view, or was that deep familial love always there for each other and prevailed despite their shared husband putting one of them in a higher pedestal? Well anyways thank you for gifting us with this and I hope you can do more similar backstories to the universe. P.S. I did see both Jon/Dany videos and the Lyanna/Rhaegar ones and I enjoyed it all extremely despite me not being an avid Jon/Dany fan, but you really are the only one who makes it work for me. I was very aware I didn't show the relationship between sisters very much, but I felt there was no need, because the history says they both were devastated by her death, and I think if Visenya was resentful, it was fully towards her brother, since it was his choice to marry both, and to love Rhaenys. I don't imagine Visenya as a jealous person, but proud- maybe too proud to be the second choice. Man since the time House of the Dragon started, I just wanted a Conquest story. I’m so shocked that how your video still stands out despite being 7 years old. The editing, transitions, aesthetic, storytelling and the voiceover still stands out in your edit, not to mention I’m surprised the cast is same as how I expected to be and I love how the way you showed the complexity of Aegon/Visenya’s relationship rather than just making it look political or hateful relationship. They were still siblings/spouse in the end who both lost a beloved family member and Visenya had all the right to blame Aegon for the mess. They did conquered Westeros but what did it cost? Their most beloved sibling and they’ll always blame themselves and each other for this but in the end they’re all they have for each other. Brat, Kathryn and Rosamund have always been and will always be my favourite cast for these characters cause they all suit these characters so well. Visenya has the masculine qualities and sharp beauty while Rhaenys diplomatic beauty with brains, she knew all the perks while Aegon is mixture of both. Also I must say Aegon was so lucky to have not one but two gem of sisters as his wife who’ll help him Conquer 6 kingdoms. It sucks in later dynasty the kings really took their queens for guaranteed and left them be nothing but just feminine showpiece. Targaryens women had far better potentials.
Apparently, a Conquest story was shopped to HBO but they put the codbosh on it because of the cost - the dragons would be heavily featured and there's no way around that. And I heard that Aegon's character was completely rewritten from the source material and made a drunkard. Come on! the dude went and burned an army when they chopped off his brother's hand, give me a break!

OMFG, this is so EPIC. I loved the choice of cast, the songs, everything! Aegon as Brad was soooo sexy. And Visenya? I love her so much, she's amazing. Queen of everything! I loved the approach as a love triangle. I really like this. The TV show could address these stories from the past, I'd love to see them. Particularly, I think they very interesting and important. ***** brad works better as aegon than he does as rhaegar, that much i can say :D you're right, though, the fancasting is extremely hard. i myself would maybe fancast caesar from spartacus (i forgot the actor's name...), but with the beard and long hair, or ragnar lothbrok, but yeah, there really aren't many choices. and achilles does have so many good scenes and quotes, plus the era-appropriate-looking costume.

Ragnar is great, I agree, but I wanted Lagertha as Visenya more than anything, and having them both is meh- I thought it would be very lazy of me to use two characters from one series. About the general concept of the video, all I can say is that I feel that you showed exactly what you wanted and it was so well created that it was very easy to understand and to "enter" on the story you were trying to tell. I watched it so many times and it's some kind of hypnosis I can't take my eyes from your beautiful and amazing video. It may sound silly but I would love to see Sansa and Sandor, based on what Sansa remembers (yes, we no it isn't true, that she's an unreliable narrator) and how she has changed what she sees as a "true knight". That Sandor, even though it's not what she envisioned, is her true " knight in shining armor ".

I watched it so many times and it's some kind of hypnosis I can't take my eyes from your beautiful and amazing video. The story is told so wisely and all these voiceovers and haunting music just leave me in awe. I didn't understand one thing. Is this Rhaenys who died in the end and Visenia blames Rhaegar in it?
