Thank you for letting me indulge with a more personal, off-topic video today! And thank you for all the wonderful comments and well-wishes so far on social media! It means so much to me!
Sarra Cannon let me just start with a Big Congratulations to you and your family! What an exciting and exhausting time for you all! I really appreciate all your videos but especially this one. This is the side of authors we rarely see. The struggle to keep productivity going during the trials of life. It's easy to get down on yourself for not reaching productivity goals during sickness and hard times and I love how real you keep things. It's an inspiration to us Newbie authors still trying to figure out how to find enough time to fit writing, a day job, and the demands of being Mom into one day. You keeping doing you and your little blessing and we will be here waiting to listen.
First, I'm beyond thrilled about the news of your little blessing! Congratulations to you all. Taking care of you and your baby's health and well-being is much more important than making videos and such. We'll still be here whenever you get them out. Thank you for allowing us into your life and sharing your joy and experience with us. It's wonderful to be along on this magical journey with you and love seeing the pics of the baby and I love the planner. What a wonderful way to document the memories of this special time. I applaud your bravery in discussing something so personal and educating others about PCOS. You are such an inspiration in so many ways. Take care of you, and don't worry about us. We're not going anywhere. :)
@@angelar8262 Thank you so much for this! I was scared to share something so personal, afraid people would just skip over it or say I should stick to writing videos, but the support has been overwhelming and so touching for me. Thank you!!
Thank you for sharing this! I’m in my mid 20s with no immediate plans to start a family, but I was also diagnosed with PCOS in college and the likely difficulties with getting pregnant have sat in the back of my mind as I imagine my future. Thank you for sharing your story-it’ll give lots of women lots of hope! Take care!
Congratulations!!❤️💕 I found out last month that I am pregnant as well, I'm due just a few weeks after you. Don't feel bad about taking it easy, we appreciate all your content regardless of the timing😊 ✨ I love the idea of a pregnancy planner to keep journal entries and photos! Adorable!
Congratulations! Your hubby sounds like a very smart/ compassionate man. A keeper for sure. PCOS is a roller coaster. I look forward to following you on this journey. Health and Family first. Hugs and Blessings!
I'm so happy for you. My husband and I have been trying for 4 years so I have not been in the process as long as you and your family but I do understand. ❤ to you and your family. I know you dont know me but I am truly excited for you. My husband and I start the next round of fertility stuff this summer. Congratulations.
Congratulations! I am so thrilled for you and your family. Best wishes for all of you! I am so sorry it has been such a rough road, but so happy you get to celebrate now.
Congrats on your pregnancy! 😊 I also have PCOS and hubby & I have been trying for 4 years now. It's a difficult road, but videos like this give me hope 💜
Congratulations! So many wonderful things are coming your way. I’m very happy for you and your family. ♥️ PS: What a great idea for using the EC as a memory planner!
I identified so much with all of this! Getting pregnant after infertility is so stressful! I follow all your videos (now in 2022) and had no idea that this was one of your life experiences!
Congratulations! 😊 I kinda thought that from how you said "There's a little surprise," in the last video. 🙂 I remember having a pregnancy journal with my first son, but sadly it didn't last long. So I can relate to you on that aspect. But after that, 3 years later and then some, I have two beautiful baby boys. 😊 Many blessings to you, your husband, and your new little one! ❤️
So happy for you Sarra. I'm so glad you're having a rainbow baby. They are so precious. I struggled, myself, with infertility and multiple miscarriages. And because of the cost we couldn't do multiple rounds. Then we made the painful choice to stop trying. It's been 4 years and I'm still as devastated now as I was then. I will be cheering you from a far and celebrate all of your milestones with you. Brightest blessings to you. 💚💙💜
Oh, Melissa, I'm so very sorry. My heart breaks for you. I completely understand how difficult it can be to come to terms with it just not being possible. I am thinking of you and sending you so much love.
Congratulations 💕 I would love to follow your pregnancy - remember to take it easy. Your little family is the most important thing. We are lucky to get some videos - looking forward to see them, but can totally understand why there is fewer 😊
BEYOND happy for you and your family! Loving this video and hoping you share more of your pregnancy as it goes along :) I've been following your channel for a few months now, and it's one of my faves. I'll actually be at NINC for the first time this fall so I'd love to see you there! Congrats on being a speaker!
Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you, your husband and son. I am definitely interested in the editing video series and the story bible wiki. Again, congratulations and take care.
Congrates Sarra so happy for you best of health and take care. I am also slow to start this quarter with my online business, as I moved house on 5th December last year and along with my health problems and sorting out new house I am way behind my plans.
I'm so excited for you. I'm expecting my second 8/15 and I also struggled with my fertility. Just out of the first trimester and it's now getting easier to write. I'm hoping to get as much done as possible before my delivery date.
I would LOVE to see a video (or take a marketing course with you) on how you market your books. And, more importantly, how you gained tremendous traction on getting readers to purchase your books :-) Congrats on the new baby!
Hi Sharon! This definitely seems to be one of the most-asked questions! If you haven't watched my video series on how to write a bestselling series, I highly recommend it. The tips I give there are the number 1 marketing tools I've used to grow my career and readership. th-cam.com/play/PLg6zjsQP4PwcpMEj3Uo2b1sPFWrcule9W.html
Congratulations!! I'm so happy for your whole family. In terms of videos I'd like to see, I'd love to learn how you do a book launch - all the little steps like getting ARC reviews, social media posts, newsletters, etc. Do you have a set plan that you follow every time? Any tips and tricks would be super helpful.
Congratulations!!! All the best for you and your baby 👶🏼 I struggled with infertility myself for several years, I also had a miscarriage but the worst was last year that I got pregnant without any treatment and without trying to get pregnant and unfortunately I lost my baby with 19 weeks. It was devastating, finally a miracle but at the end no baby to hold in my arms. So, I’m praying for you and your baby, wishing you a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Your pregnancy journal is beautiful, sometimes is difficult to keep everything up but you’re doing a great job. Hopefully you’ll feel better soon, I suffered from morning sickness during all of my pregnancies and it was the worst, from week 6 until the end... non stop... I was hospitalized several times 😫 Sarra, all the best for you and I’m happy to be following you!
Congrats! And you are amazing for being able to write through all of this. My twins are IVF babies, and it was so, so emotionally draining. Ironically, they were born the same year my first book was published. I had a miserable pregnancy (didn't sleep more than twenty minutes at a time for two solids months) and was unknowingly really depressed. I was supposed to be writing the second book, but didn't get more than 20k during my whole pregnancy. After they were born (and I got to sleep more! lol), I scrapped the whole thing and started over. Anyway, I've never been happy with that book and I developed bad habits of sitting and doing nothing but jumping through rabbit holes online. 7 years later, and I'm still trying to break those bad habits and get productive, which is why I joined your class. :-) Congrats again!
Congratulations on your pregnancy. I have PCOS too and I had my son in 2016. I had a lot of nausea and one of my nurses suggested lemonade and lemon hard candy for nausea and I thought that was a wierd thing to help with that but it totally did! I hope that helps you! Take Care!
Thank you so much!! Sadly, I don't eat any kind of sugar or flour, so candy and lemonade are off-limits for me, as are saltines, haha. It's been tough, because everything people suggest to deal with morning sickness has sugar or flour! Homemade ginger root tea has helped some, but it takes a long time to make!
Awesome video! And ugh, yeah, I used to fall asleep every time I sat in the car (as a passenger lol), even if it was just a 5-min drive when I was pregnant.
Yay, so happy for you! I’m struggling with brain dumping vs brainstorming. My ideas are stale and need advice on how to brainstorm fresh ideas. Ps moving vlogs would be awesome!
I have a 10 year gap between my 2 kids. My husband still jokes that I am Advanced Maternal Age. Congrats. You enjoy the journey so much more when you are advanced maternal age, lol.
Congrats again. You look amazing. I am so excited that you are going to NINC. We have been going the last couple of years and the classes and people are super amazing. Also if you and your family are staying in the hotel there there is so much for them to do. can't wait to see you there. PS I am not as creepy as that sounds.
I'm so, so excited for you. Note about being older...I was 36 when my daughter was born and the first time I saw "elderly multigravida" on my records, I just about died. LOL.
Congratulations - I'm so excited for you! I wish that planning and journalling had been a Thing way back when I was pregnant; I have the traditional "baby book" but that's all. I assume you've had to drop the calorie-restriction aspect of BLE now? I looked into BLE when I first came across a mention of it in your videos, but balked at the weighing-all-your-food aspect. I'm now following one of Dr Joel Fuhrman's Nutritarian plans, focusing on hypertension (which I seem to be prone to, as I had pre-eclampsia in my final month of pregnancy) and enjoying it a lot, even though it means eating practically my own body weight in salad & veggies every day :D
So happy for you! I was wondering if you wouldn't mind spilling the beans on what website you use for your wiki? I'm knee deep into my first novel and keeping all my world building details organized is starting to get out of hand. Still anxious to see how YOU do everything, but I need a quick solution to get started with ASAP.
I have PCOS too. Thankfully I don’t have a severe version of it, but I do have another autoimmune disease, and the 2 of them are NOT friends lol. Congratulations
Congratulation, children are a blessing ( I have 3) - so, thats why you are short of breath he he - carrying my first I actually lost weight and he was tiny and healthy, so best of luck
I have had a similar experience due to PCOS. My ending isn't as Happy as yours...yet. Is there a way that you can do another video on PCOS? I have been looking for women who are open about their condition so that I can try different things that work with symptoms.
Interesting...my ob/gyn said the opposite. We lost early twice and he said to wait 6 months to give my body a chance to recover. If you get pregnant to soon your body will see it as the other pregnancy and miscarry it again. But the last 19 year's in the medical world has taught me...it is all educated guesses.
Yes! I really should! We are definitely hiring a moving company, so we should just go ahead and have them pack most of the house for us, too. It would be so worth it!
