His message was, whatever you're feeling is alright. It flies in the face of the cancel culture we are living in today, a culture that tries to teach us that feelings are the enemy. They are part of the HUMAN experience. Without them, you are not a conscious entity.

When I listen to Alan Watts, I know that he is alive in me and I am alive in him in the timelessness that is where we all are, now, immortal. I love the joy he manifests and shares in speaking the truth of what is. What a gift he is to Life. What clarity, what simplicity, what wisdom. Thank you, Alan, always.

    • @piehound
      @piehound ปีที่แล้ว +1

Nice words. But in my life i find clarity often lacking. Words alone . . . no matter how clear just don't clarify life itself. Same with wisdom. The words themselves may be very wise indeed. But that's only talk or text. Now try walking the walk instead of just talking the talk. I find trial and error is mostly what happens. The wise words only serve to remind me i've erred again . . . painfully.

To listen to Allan is a knock on the door of perceptions and a reallity check out .He nurrish the intetectual and wakes you up for ineffavel nature that permeates all phenomena ,is joyful and painful to listen because he push a door but its the power of diligence and motivation( your own) that makes this Clarity a truth for us He have the power to shake us with his words , words are symbols showing directions,....I understand what you saying felt it many times
But we always have the Present Moment to step On no matter how many we missed and we feel discouraged To judge ourselves to feel without resources is just more one trap.Never give up.

'BALANCE' is the word that most characterized the game of life.Balance of the opposites. Like a game, life needs RULES & RANDOMNESS, CONTROL & RISK, otherwise it becomes a bore. A great speech, great because timeless and delivered by a passionate man who speaks for the sake of truth.

Thank you for these uploads. I visited Alan Watt's place of birth a couple of months ago. A little suburban village Chislehurst in south London. I’ve seen his house, the little high street, the church he attended, and the pub he made a birthday party for his then 80 yo father. I was strolling through the village, listening to his autobiography on my airpods and trying to find as many places as possible. It’s very easy to imagine how it was when Alan lived there and then visited when he moved to the States. The village didn’t change almost at all. Visiting Chislehurst was an amazing experience.

I've come to listen to Alan Watts after ive experienced (during meditation) the whole unity with everything that is, from humans, plants, animals, whole cosmos really. I did not know what has happened. I cried about 5,6 times per day for a month from pure love and joy. After reading and listening to primordial energy/God that took form of Alan Watts ive learned that what happend to me was satori, buddhahood, enlightment. ❤🎉😂 There is no one god on top of all, authority which created all this, and were the products of this entity because thats not what love is about. We are it, we are all gods. We are all one in form of many, and this existance, universe itself really is the celebration and "gathering" all possible experiences just for pure love and fun of it. ❤😂😊 From that day on, im no longer the nihilistic, cinical asshole who knew that science is the only way to explain our existance. 😅😂 Alan Watts explained everything and spoke nothing but truth of our universe. 😊

How many pieces in three dimensional chess?? Seems the normal amount would be rather empty. Also I guess we could invent new pieces, like the depth-queen, that can move in more than one plane.. Because I presume a normal queen can move in one plane in every direction, but has three planes to choose from. Also we would need to eshtablish whole planes for the pawns to reach before promotion and en-passant would be a challenge... I would love to witness a full game :)

Is There A Way To 'Avoid' (To See Through) All Of The Fear Associated With Physical Death?
A Way To Effectively Become An 'Immortal', And So 'Naturally Eternal' Being?
    A Way To 'Realise Immortality'?
Yes. There is 'A Way' to actually do so.
And That Way Is 'NO WAY'.
You Need To Realise. That 'A Way' Is In Reality 'Nothing More' Than 'A Means To An End'.
And so, logically. The question then becomes.
So What Is 'A Way' Exactly?
Well. 'A Way IS A Way' Of Actually Connecting 'Two Entirely Different Positions'.
So Effectively Making Them Both 'One And The Same'.
Or. To put it another way.
'A Way IS A Way' Of Actually Creating 'The State Of Complete Unification'.
That 'Unified State' In Which There Are Naturally 'No Ways'.
That 'Unified State' In Which 'All Ways' Must 'Naturally Be Seen' To Lead To 'Every Other Way'
That 'Unified State' In Which There Are Naturally 'No Different Positions'.
That 'Unified State' That We Refer To As 'God's Mind'.
    The 'Endless Void'.
The 'Nothing' That Naturally Underlies 'Everything'.
A Truth That Is 'NOW' Able To Show Us.
That - GOD 'ALL WAYS' WINS.
And yes. 'NOW' That The Circle 'IS' Finally Complete.
'NOW' That We Are Back 'Once More' At The Very Beginning Of All Things.
    At The 'ZERO POINT'.
    IT IS 'GAME OVER'.
And Yes. 'NOW' We Can Naturally Begin To Play The Game All Over Again.
    Love.
    The Creator Of The Game.
ME (The Reader Of These Words 'NOW').
