I wouldn't say WW1 was a war about freedom. It was just a result from complicated alliances.

They were manipulated and used to fight and die in a war by the rich elite, for the rich elite.
The elite ensure to keep the people divided either through nations, class, racism, demonization, and scapegoating, to keep us from realizing that we're brothers and sisters. WWI happened because the rich imperialists had expanded/grown too much and started intruding into each other's territories and profits.
It's down to us to remember this and put an end to their imperialist wars

@@AmericanIdiot7659 ww1 was a complicated war, the british only fought because of the invasion of belgium, and inturn the americans fought brcause of thr british blockade

@@AmericanIdiot7659 Not entirely correct. Britain got involved because the Germans had ambitions to challenge Britain for it's Empire, and had they beaten the French, and occupied the French Naval Ports along the English Channel. their Navy, which was growing all the time, would face Britain only 20 to 40 miles away. A war would be inevitable. Better to fight them in Europe , with French help, than a war all over the globe. In WW2, the Germans occupied France, but used their Airfields, AS WELL AS Coastal bases for Submarines.

Sorry I don’t find your joke funny’. This sung was song by soldiers who saw death pain and suffering on a daily basis, this and other songs were how these soldiers would express there sorrow.
This is not a funny joke, this song deserves respect especially for what it stands for.
      It’s not a dumb meme.
