Good day, We have an infinite population, can we use the infinite population correction formula to set the sample size before we do two-stage clustering? Thank you
Hi, thank you, your video is very helpful but I am confused. From where can I get my Population Size so I can calculate the Estimated sample size of respondents? Is it from the total number of final sample?
In this method, how we can decide how many clusters or sub-clusters we should select? Is there any rule to decide number of respondents in each selected sampling unit?
That’s the freedom on the part of researcher in this method. Researcher can select as many clusters or sub cluster as required to reach up to the desired sample size.
Thank You ma'am it was really helpful. I just have a question that in the final stage, for selecting some teachers from the particular college we again have to form clusters? and If yes what type of cluster can be formed
You’re welcome!! It depends!! Let’s say, there are different departments in each college and you need faculty members from each department. Then you can consider those departments as clusters. It depends upon your sample size and no. Of faculty members in each college. Again, you can use SRS to select few teachers.
Thank you for the informative video, Ma'am! But what do I do if I don't have the list of all the samples from each selected colleges? But let's say, I do know the amount of samples from each colleges. Then is it okay if I just pick the samples incidentally until I meet the minimum requirement from each colleges? Since I know the population is actually finite, I do simple random sampling from each stages until I get to the selected colleges, but then I don't have the access to each individual data of the samples...
You’re welcome ☺️ For using simple random sampling, you have to have complete list of population. If you do not have that, you can go for any non random sampling technique suitable to your data. Then name of sampling method will be multistage (name of non-random sampling method)
Madam Namasthe, I am doing research on crop insurance, my study area is two districts of Telangana state and sample size is 400 which sampling method i can use pls suggest me, thank you 🙏
No, at every stage you need to divide clusters into sub clusters then use SRS Multistage sampling is extended form of cluster sampling. For more clarification, please refer th-cam.com/video/8Q3ZrWVDX6U/w-d-xo.html STAY CONNECTED!!!
Dear Madam, the last stage where we use educators from college 2 n ... By simple random method, we can say this is multistage simple random sampling ? 2nd let's say instead of educators ( teachers) we purposely choose only heads ( headmistress, headmaster or principle) then what we will give the name of this technique maybe multistage cluster sampling ?? Thanks 🤲🤲
This is multistage cluster sampling. In simple random sampling, clusters are not formed. If you purposely choose only headmaster, then you will not be able to generalize your results to all educators. This will affect external validity of the study. Hope this helped!!

I'm so happy I found your channel ma'am. You're are an excellent teacher 🙏 I subscribed.
Glad, you liked ☺️
Thank you for subscribing 🙏
Thank you Ma’am. I was struggling with the difference between cluster sampling and multi stage sampling. This really helped.

Great job
Lovely video
Incredibly amazing and inspiring lessons
Very well explained and illustrated
Thanks for sharing
Dr Sumeet keep on sharing..its ganna grow👍
Thank you!!
Your words really means a lot 😊
thank you, I'm taking ap stats so this helps a lot
I love myself, which means i love anoushka, which is def me and not someone else on my ID
Thanks Dr Sumeet
Amazing explanation
Thank u ma'am for the video, easily understood 🙂

You’re welcome 🤗
best video continue making such videos thanks madam
Thank You 🤗

That’s the freedom on the part of researcher in this method.
Researcher can select as many clusters or sub cluster as required to reach up to the desired sample size.
❤
Thank you
So in this sampling you can pick any of the samples?
Use simple random sampling or systematic sampling to pick
Thank you very much you save me😊😊

It depends upon your sample size and no. Of faculty members in each college. Again, you can use SRS to select few teachers.
What is the criteria or rule of selecting a number of clusters from all clusters at first stage?
Wonderful
Thanks madam

@@dr.sumeetbakshi Alright, thank you so much for the clear advice!!
Hi... Will you please tell the sample allocation method for multisatge sampling
In multistage sampling, researcher has full freedom to select as many clusters/sub clusters/ units as required to reach the desired sample size.
@@dr.sumeetbakshi thanks

Or multistage sampling depending upon population size
Ma'am. Under this Everything is simple random sampling except the First part?
No, at every stage you need to divide clusters into sub clusters then use SRS
Multistage sampling is extended form of cluster sampling. For more clarification, please refer
