- OK, the "BEST" part is debatable but Kfir Canard in War Thunder is very capable at 10.7. It was a blast to fly and record gameplay for this video.
Kfir Canard fixes the main problem of Mirage IIIE with greatly improved engine allowing it to sustain fights against most opponents. It also allows Kfir if need arises to escape from difficult situations and dictate how the fight flows against slower opponents.
Weaponry is lackluster compared to some other 10.7 aircraft. Kfir carries 2 AIM-9G missiles which don't have any CM resistance.
DEFAs are arguably hard to aim because of the ballistics and sometimes have inconsistent damage if 30mm rounds don't damage fuel tanks.
TLDR Overall plane gut buy at sale I recommend.

i really enjoy bringing the zuni rocket pods on this thing to blast ground targets and even try a ratty shot on of the 40 people who want to kill me

I have every plane in the tree. And I did it without a premium. And DAMN DID IT HURT! I got up to rank 7 and figured that the Canard wasn’t worth it at that point, so I accidentally stock grinded the whole tree lol. Glad I did tho now I have quite a bit of experience

@@jovaan5532 I like the Mirage series, and the Kfirs are just an upgrade, the Kfir C7 is the only researchable Kfir but I really like it. And you could always buy the Kfir Canard to get through Israel really fast

Give it AIM-9J or AIM-9Ls and it would be OP. I really like the Kfir Canard, but my performance is not really that great. If I may ask, how are your sights set up ? Vertical targeting and 800m ?
I had a game with the Kfir in SIM with 2 500% SL boosters on and I made A LOT of SL….😂. Roughly 1.4 million SL and 77K RP from a hour 30 battle. (Had a 11k SL multiplier for the first 30 minutes)
Surely impressive for a plane, but I can manage up to 2 mil in a Moffet/Frank Knox lineup. And them navy matches take only about 20 minutes.

If you're thinking about purchasing this plane, be careful; I've never seen so many teamkills, with aim to bomb a base, as with Canard pilots. Just this week, during the event, I've seen 1-2 Canard-on-Canard team kills (all to bomb a base) each day.

@@lisastinner-kun9353 Ohh that's a hard question. It changed a few times throughout the years. My first top jet was MiG-21MF at time when it had no RWR and flares, but I just loved that thing. When F-5E came out it quickly became my fav bcos it was just a breeze to fly. I still fly out F-5C on regular basis. It's just a really comfy plane to play. So ye, probably the F-5 family.

i bought the kfir but realized i dont have a trained enough crew for it, so my pilot keeps blacking out on a sustained turn... the result is I was forced to train the crew in much lower B.R. and ended up grinding israel aviation lol
How is the Israeli missile on this?
I haven’t tried Shafrir 2 on Kfir yet bcos it can’t be radar slaved.
But overall Shafrir has larger warhead making it heavier, and has higher seeker FOV making it more sensitive to flares and sun when compared to AIM-9G. So Shafrir is technically inferior to 9G.
