This was a life changing class, I am so happy that Both Rav Yy and Chani came together especially on Ari's Yertzeit.
Rav YY always has just the most magical way of explaining things And Chani had great questions.
    So clear and poetic.

The way I dealt with darkness was to pretend. As a great lover of science fiction I would pretend I was from another world. Just like one of the heros from my books.

When I hear, 'all we do is pray', what comes to mind are the 4 classes of Jews standing at the Sea of Reeds, and G-d tells us to be quiet, and just forge ahead, as Nachshon ben Aminadav initiated. One thing is for sure: I have never seen so many previously indifferent Jews wake up to their Yiddishkait as after 7 October. That in itself opens up endless questions...

The same law that allows evil, also allows blessings. Do it G-d's way, and no matter what people do to you, G-d blesses!

As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Be strong and courageous
"Love who I AM with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbor as yourself."
I AM love, and all who live in love live in me, and I in them. And as we live in who I AM, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like the lamb here in this world.
Such love has no fear because perfect love casts out fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. We love each other because he loved us first.

I hope Chanie (and everyone watching) saw the series on Janas prayer by Rabbbi Fohrman in "Aleph Beta". If you watch them until getting it's message, it sheds some light on the issue of davening.
Thank you Rabbi and Chanie. ❤

Darkness begets darkness. Light begets light. It is the law of G-d.
Sow darkness, reap darkness. Sow light, true light, reap true light.

When you say prayer. Does it mean formal prayer or prayer from the heart in your own words. I hope one one can answer this

    • @joangane4339
      @joangane4339 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

It actually means both. Formal prayers were written to teach us how to pray, how to ignite our souls to reach for HaShem. Then, we can reach out in our own words for those things that are in our hearts

If the holy spirit is love,
    mercy, peace& forgiveness
    then every teaching that
    I AM eternal punishment,
hell, torment, wrath, and vengefulness defeat the purpose,
    blaspheming my very nature of
    kindness peace and patience.
It turns my spirit into vengeance
    and is self-defeating. They're turning
mercy into death and the grave...
They murder for the law spiritually
for gain and power & physically

The only secret is, do it G-d's way!

The universe is based on laws. For all to be equal, and every person to have freewill, G-d has to allow a choice to sin. No sin, no choice. To be equal to all, G-d cannot control consequences, but He can, and does, punish evil.
So, G-d is allowing nothing. The law allows the choice, and the consequences of the breach of the law. By punishing sin with death (the soul that sins shall die), it proves that G-d did not allow bad to happen. By definition, a good G-d can do no harm. He can punish, but do no harm.
If the government creates a law that is breached with harmful consequences, did the government do it? Not if the government exercised its power to stop it. Same concept of freedom.
If a drunk runs over your child, do you stop believing in government? You appeal to the govt to change the law.
Governments represent G-d in this manner, with their authority coming from G-d.
