Indeed it had become a club which did not know how to win a comp after 50 years of trying and you were instrumental in turning that mindset around! @M lol soccer is one of the most boring popular sports in the world. Something about watching grown men acting like they need an ambulance when someone slightly bumps them, kind of also makes soccer one of the most pathetic sports in the world also. It should be in the drama section of netflix lol. It is Europes largest sport which makes up probably 90% of the numbers. Have you seen European teams get absolutely spanked by Australia when they try to play an actual well rounded physical sport like Rugby League? I can see why they stick to soccer lol

Great story. I'm a Roosters fan, but grew up as a junior in Cronulla ( Engadine Dragons , Cronulla Caringbah ) . Still waiting for the call up to Flegg , but at 55, and living in the UK now, it's probably not happening. Been in Michael's company on a few occasions, and he's an absolute gent. Proper nice bloke. On the field , though, geez, he was such a competitor. Was so happy for the Sharkies that day.
