This is how rock n roll started. Clapton, J Page, Hendrix all of them started playing blues like several black musicians from south, Mississippi Delta Thank you blues
Johnny fans - check out ‘drugstore women’ and ‘big legs tight skirt’. I’ve listened to each I’d say 36 times. Well, I did get interrupted once, but it only took me a few seconds to kill them. Yes- nothing but the best my friend. Indeed! Don’t forget r. L. Burnside folks if you don’t know him- figures if you love this man, well, you might love another as well. Why not? I don’t know but why- they both tend to ignore traditional 12 bar bar blues. It’s like Johnny just never quite ‘got’ the ‘need’ of a ‘constant’ ‘pattern’. Which is why I find him to be my fave of ‘em - as highlighted by my perky, lively verse. Check out R. L. Burnside ( ‘see my jumper hangin’ out on the line’ maybe my favorite song title of all time - because you indeed know that something may or may not be on his mind. I’m guessing it probably pretty much was. And THIS guy, one of the sexiest men, ever.
@Thomas Headley I was thrilled to find Hooker and Heat at Spotify. Canned + JLH is all I'm listening at the moment. I play along on my Telecaster, just getting into the groove, eyes closed, foot tapping, fingers wandering... It feels so good, not sure if anyone else would enjoy it though 😇
It's genius how he mainly plays the one chord per song, he alludes to playing different ones in a progression but instead actually maintains the same chord. Sounds so simplistic but shows how intelligent his understanding is of progressions and phrasing, not like his guitar playing is in question at all.
Amazing footage!! Im so grateful for the people who had everything to do with getting it here!!!
Это не оспорить,не понять.И слышать и слушать бесконечно.
Great right hand technique! 12:24
Amazingly, some involved with P.B.S. setting a solid high standard in music back in the day.

What kind of Doctor prescribes milk, cream, and alcohol? Sounds like it's pancreatitis and acid reflux rolled into one.
