An Icy Copperas Creek Adventure - Copperas Creek Falls - Red River Gorge - Kentucky - 1/23/24

Tuesday's icy adventure in the gorge with Cane.. We started our morning hiking out along the unofficial trail to an almost completely frozen Copperas Creek Falls.. We had the area to ourselves so of course we had to play some fetch.. On the hike back out we made a quick stop by Sandy Arch to see what ice formations might be there and then built a snowman along the unofficial trail to Copperas Creek Falls.. Finally we finished our day with a visit to the roadside Bell Falls and Upper Bell Falls, which were completely frozen.. Glad we got out for one last icy adventure before everything melted away 🤙

Those creek crossings aren't too bad when they're frozen haha. Luckily you have a nice scout willing to test the ice for you.
