Hello. It might help if you use the square knot. The easiest way to remember it is: right (yarn/string) over left (yarn/string) and under then left (yarn/string) over right (yarn/string) and under then pull it tight. It's the knot sailors use. You can Google "square knot" to get a visual. I find that the square knot works the best but if the yarn is slippery, I'm not sure any knot works very well, unfortunately. @@kristinemillette6679 the surgeons knot has more over and unders than the plain square knot. The thread material that doctors use is much smoother and less flexible. It can easily slide loose so they need to wrap the thread more to keep it from sliding loose. You can certainly use the surgeons knot when you have yarn that slides loose frequently. I would.

When crocheting with the same color, do you still make the change at the end of the row or in the middle of the row? The colors will be the same just adding another skein. Thanks for the video!
