はい、やっぱり苔むすのには時間がかかります。
場所にもよるんじゃないですかね？
苔は日陰になっていて涼しい且つ空気の湿度が高いところが好き、という印象ですがどうでしょうかね。
I have utmost respect for anyone willing to grow moss over so many months. This is very interesting.
Not sure if a Japanese commenter has pointed this out yet, but the plant at 6:21 looks like it might be a liverwort. Liverworts have a similar life cycle to moss, and they grow in the same habitats. Thank you so much for your dedication to watering the moss rock daily, and for sharing it with the world!

I’m gaving trouble finding moss to purchase in my area and cannit seem to grow in my apartment. Thank you for this video from Toronto, Canada.
Don’t give up. I ended up finding a local supplier through an aquascapes store. Before that, couldn’t find anything and with Australian quarantine laws, meant I couldn’t even get it shipped over from another state.
I planted half of my initial purchase and propagated the other half. The half I propagated has stimulated growth in about 90%. The other half I planted only about 40-50% though all of that 40-50% has been planted in with other plants, the rest that has shown no growth is by itself.

I just watch 9 minutes of a man watering a stone for a year. Interesting
We have them in my dad man made waterfall. It was only cement but there's a lot of moss on it. I often scrape them off and throw it away until one day i just stopped and thought "it looked kinda pretty" so i left them.. after i got married dad emptied the waterfall pond and there's no more moss on the wall of the waterfall. They all dried up and died
That's a pity. I hope they reopen the moss-covered waterfall.

I have loads of thick moss in the garden and let the birds use it for nests.

苔は胞子のでる時期がある。住宅街に多いのはギンゴケで、これは6月ごろに胞子がでる。6月にギンゴケの多いところのそばに置いておけばひと月で苔だらけになる。

We live in place that has heavy rain in rainy season, yes we have a rainy season, our concrete roof (side) is like covered in it.

It's like a green carpet, usually we get a lots of rainfall and humidity is high and soil is rich in nutrient but I don't know it's growing on bricks and concrete, may be having a nice soil have some effect too. Part of our road in front of our house, is also full of it, not just moss also algae, in rain it is hell of slippery

while an interesting video on its own, i do really like that the crate the rocks came in is from Sint Niklaas, a city next to Antwerp in Belgium and not that far from where I was born. I have no idea who Maurice Beck is, but Beck is a fairly common surname in those parts. The telephone number on it only being 6 digits suggest that the crate has some age to it
