High pressure casting (commonly called die casting) is a kind of casting which is made by filling molten or semi molten metal into the cavity of die casting die at a very high speed under high pressure, then cooling and solidification under high pressure.
What is the advantage of that process over, say, just pouting the metal into the mold? Does the high pressure reduce/eliminate bubbles? I know injection molded plastic, which also happens at hight pressure, is sometimes not free of bubbles. Is the cast part less malleable if die-cast?
I wasn't aware of how hard they rammed the molten metal into the mold. Guess it makes sense, inertia would be your friend and any air would becompressed below visibility.
can you make a water cooled aluminum cylinder head with high pressure die casting? that would be game changing if so but im not sure if you can replicate the interior intake and exhaust plenums or the intricate water cooling passages ... is there any information regarding this?
"Fatigue strength" is not an attribute a part can have. It's the name of a measurement. It sounds like you're selling injection molding by saying the parts have millimeters.
You are telling me Ryan Quinn is not an animated 3D character?
Animators can make certain the character blinks naturally
1:37 I honestly thought this was an AI speaking

omg thankyou so much. im so confused. i thought hpc and die casting are different. now i know they are the same. geez. so many names . again, thankyou

Is it possible to calculate power consumption of a let's say 350 ton die-casting machine in Watt?
Please, if possible, explain why the copper model cooling system is used for overflow? How is it designed?
Thanks in a million. Great content. Awesome. Grade: A++💥
What the hell is a sales and marketing ENGINEER?
sales man?
Hi, could you produce stainless steel products in the die-casting process?
Yes, but it is not practical. Melting temps are of SS are too high for standard die materials.
so is die casting just metal injection molding?
im so confused, dies and moulds. are they the same? omg
Focus on Aluminum Alloy Casting
nice video about die casting process
nice video
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this guy is AI generated.
Okay thank god, I thought he seemed robotic and it scared the shit outta me
Looks a bit like Jake Gyllenhaals long lost AI brother
Good!
3D printing is going to changing the foundry world it already is!
Steel cutting cnc machines is whats really needed.
I have 12 years experience this work in Malaysia

great video
we make die fluids
Please take me in your company ..🙏
Nice
can we use this process to produce cast iron and stainless steel parts?
No, you need a different technique for that because steel has a way higher melting point
Great
😮my future dream is to built big car manufacturer campany

Our shot bars and shot tips have water running through them so that the tip doesn’t swell up and get stuck in the cold chamber.
They do this in Kawasaki motors manurfacturing in Maryville Missouri. I used to work in die casting for 2 years

I knew it was a computer speaking untill i saw an actual 3D human
hi , are you interested in new die casting machines ?
if this was today i would have said that narrator is AI generated
Nice (yas)
Introducing my name is Fandi, I am from Indonesia. we produce abrasive media plastic, can we cooperate with you. thank you
this looks like an AIBOT
Hii
ماشاء الله تبارك الله
how can we work with you?

Alex Rudinski you’re wrong. “Length” is an attribute of a part. You are comparing units to attributes... way to make that confusing.
hi
That dude is a NPC
Liquid metal
Hey you know that thing that happens to ice when it gets hot? Yeah it happens to metals too dum dum just way hotter
