So finally my GAGGIA Baby Classic died and although I repaired it a couple of times with new parts, I decided it's time for a new coffee machine. Now I didn't want to spend the same as I did on the GAGGIA which was £280 at the time. So off I went on my usual level of research and finally found this.
It's £50 (at the time of uploading this review) and is brilliant! It's easy to use, has a timer so you can set a time for it to make you coffee so you have a fresh new when you wake up or when you get home.
It's got a nice little feature which will let you know when calcium is building up in the system and let you know when it's time to descale it but can also run an anti calcium program. You can also set the flavour intensity of your coffee.
It was 78° straight off the bat
After 2 hours the Coffee was still 62°f.
After 3 hours it was 52°
It's easy to use, easy to clean, makes great coffee and costs peanuts compared to the expensive brands.

I replaced my old coffee machine with this Melitta model and I am very pleased, the thermal jug holds half as much space as my old coffee machine and the coffee stays hot for longer. Personally, I don't like strong coffee and I use 3 scoops for the entire tank of water.
Ah that's great, I'm pleased you like it. It's great value for money and yes the jug does keep it quite hot for a decent amount of time😁👌🏻☕
How much coffee do you use per cup?
I usually use a travel mug which holds more than the average mug so I use 2 scoops. I'd say one would be enough for a normal mug but it's also down to preference so make one with one scoop and if you want it stronger then add more😊
@@PHANTOM-FX OK. I have it set on the strongest brew setting. 20g of coffee. I use a scale. 3 setting on the big cups. Produces 2 half mugs of coffee with a cappuccino.
You use a scale, that sounds very professional👌🏻 I just use a scoop but I find it makes a great coffee. What's your experience with it so far, you enjoying it? 😊
@@PHANTOM-FX It's very good. Keeps the coffee warm for ages. Use a scale as I follow Hoffman the coffee snob critic. He swears by them and it has made my coffee a lot more predictable

Entschuldigung, ich benutze Google Translate, da ich kein Deutsch spreche. Ja, es macht großartigen Kaffee und es kostet nur 40 Pfund, also eine sehr billige Maschine im Vergleich zu anderen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass die Kenner sagen werden, dass es bessere Maschinen gibt und ich bezweifle keine Sekunde, dass es sie gibt ... aber nicht für das gleiche Budget, das dieses bietet
