- I don’t think I’ll ever accept the fact that I might not be a fan of Assassin’s Creed anymore. I haven’t finished a game in the series since Black Flag and yet, when a new one releases I’m right there ready to play it day one. Well that changes this year. In 2024 I want to platinum as many Assassin’s Creed games as I can stomach to see if the old games really do be hitting or at the very least platinum some games that I am incredibly nostalgic for and regard as some of my all time favourite games. So, first up on the agenda I platinumed every game in the Ezio Collection!

I spent waaay too much time on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that I eventually got the platinum. It’s not a perfect game, but it ended up becoming a comfort game, and got my fiancée into gaming as well!
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is my personal favourite (it may not be the best Assassin's Creed game, but it's definitely the best OVERALL game in the franchise) and has the most fun platinum trophy for me. It's the only game that I've ever platinumed twice on two separate accounts, which is really saying something as I've earned 112 platinums on my main account as of today, but no other game was platinumed twice by me (on the same or different account)..
I seriously believe that if Ubisoft hadn't included "Assassin's Creed" in the title, this would've been hailed as one of their best games.
i would say, my favourite is Syndicate
AC3, Black Flag, and Rogue
The 360 version of AC1 has achievements. Back to work
For the flying machine trophy it can be obtained on the ps3 after you’ve beaten the story you just need to buy sequence 12 because there is a lost memory icon that allows you to use the flying machine again

I'm pretty proud to have the PS3 platinum for AC II, Brotherhood, Revelations and Rogue.
The Flying Machine trophy glitched for me, so I had to replay the entire game about a year later but the Archives made me physically sick!
That is a hell of an accomplishment, well done!
@@MayorHairBear in case you didn't know the Hong Kong store has Brotherhood and Revelations DLC for FREE and Revelations online trophies are available again (trying to get my hands on a copy of those, so haven't checked it myself). 👍😄🙏

Done this last year, loved every minute of it. AC2 was one of the first games I played on my 360, and dare I say it, it still looks absolutely amazing and holds up perfectly now. Well done man.
AC2 holds up really well today, even on the PS3 which really surprised me!

Online trophies are one of the worst inventions ever. Like completely disregards game preservation when the servers go down.

This trilogy is by far my favourite. I loved these games, never actually got all achievements but played them atleast 2-3 times. Just the best, can't wait for the rest of your series. Did you start mirage also? It is not the same like the old games, but better again! Oh and yes the tank mission alone did stoped me from wanting to get 100% synch in brotherhood. :D
The tank mission really can be a plat killer! I did start Mirage but wasn't really vibing with it at the time
I played through the Ezio trilogy and AC3 late last year for the very first time, one after another, and after AC3 I was excited to play Black Flag but I was so burned out by then that BF was so frustrating taking the boat everywhere. The boat combat is also just the same thing over and over again. I never finished it and I still am on a break months after. I’m still burned out BUT the Ezio trilogy was great and AC3 was very fun and dare I say a little underrated.
Yeah I'm not going to lie, that's a lot of AC in a short time. I was burnt out after this collection 😂

I played through The Ezio Trilogy around 3-5 years ago and got all but two achievements on the xbox one: Impress Warren Vidic and Cross Styx Without Dying. Hopefully, I will get those last 2 achievements. Mad respect for getting the platinum for the trilogy. Really wish Ubisoft bothered to include checkpoints for the optional objectives. They make the AC 2 DLC memory sequences mandatory but don't put in checkpoints like the rest of the AC games from AC 3 through Syndicate have.
Assassin's Creed 2 was my first ever platinum in 2010, good times.
I want to say it was one of my first 100% on the 360 as well!
Props, I did this a month ago or so, and it was hella tough just to have the patience lol, but 3 kinda sped up abit but not so much
I may agree that the modern storyline breaks the gameplay a bit in terms of fun, but i believe at least Desmond's story is particularly interesting for me, so i don't get why you wouldn't care, but i still respect your opinion and kudos to you for getting a platinum for the ps3 version other than the collection!
I just don't find it interesting. I think it ties each game together well enough but I don't need that personally. I'd be happy just dropping me into a new setting each time and that be it as I'm playing Assassin's Creed to experience Rome or Constantinople or the American Revolution. I love the history part of it
I spent Covid getting all the achievements for the original versions of these games, including AC3, had to replay each game like 3 teams because of glitched achievements. You can no longer get all the achievements for these games as the servers are beginning to shut down so I feel quite lucky to have gotten them. I even got all the a bievemtns for the 360 and the one versions of black flag. Man Covid was crazy.
Covid really was a wild time and well done on the 100%'s. Owning a 100% or platinum for a no longer obtainable game is always a prize!
I love the AC games but honestly all the hoops I have to jump through for some of those trophies (especially 100% sync) has kept me from going for a lot of the older platinums. But, I am also more committed to the trophy hunt now than I was then, so maybe I oughta revisit some and go for it. AC Rogue is my favorite in the series, but of the six AC games I’ve platinumed, Mirage was probably my favorite platinum of them. It’s really simple, but at least it doesn’t have any weird or infuriating trophies like the others do.
Small tip in case you aren’t aware, but if you are intending to get the platinum for all the games you can in the series, be sure to get the physical copy for the three Chronicles games. I bought the bundle digitally and it makes them separate trophy lists. That said, great work on the Ezio trilogy, and best of luck with the rest of the series!
i travelled to all the Italian Cities AC Played in - 10 out 10 reccomend - funfact in Rome and Florence you can find Ezio inspired Restaurants

Just finished collecting the Ezio Collection platinum's myself. But I have to say that Valhalla was my favorite in the series but Syndicate's platinum was my favorite to get.
I've heard Syndicate is a fun one to platinum!

I platinum’d them as well for assassin creed 2 I put ezio back in the villa with his mother. Assassin creed brotherhood I put ezio in the hideout with the other assassins maxed out and for the last one I put him on the top of the highest building

Gotta be honest, while editing these longer videos is such a headache at times it is so satisfying to see it come together! But I'm with you, probably should have broken up the trilogy plat videos with some shorter ones 😂

I will say origins was a fun one there will probably be some grindy achievements. But for me I mostly played it because I enjoyed the time period of the reign of Cleopatra.

@@MayorHairBear Really like AC Rogue even though the play was a bit too grindy towards the end. Loved Black Flag also, though I don't think I'll ever get the play as those online trophies are a chore

I've heard Unity is a great game, only played it at release and it was mad broken so excited to revisit that one!
The only platinium trophy I have is only AC2. I loved that game. So I am just happy with that.
Love assassin creed. But valhalla made me hate the game and franchise so much now I refuse to think about them.
Yeah Odyssey did that for me too, and Valhalla was the nail. Only picked up Mirage because it was supposed to go back to roots
@airBear Mirage is actually a nice pace, took me 3 weeks to Platinum. I haven't got the Revelations Platinum though, the last two trophies of the DLC are a nightmare. Valhalla's Platinum took me 1 month its the over dose of DLC that takes so much time, I have as yet to get the Forgotten Saga done and the Mastery challenges are broken.

Please give mirage a chance. As long as you don’t use the focus ability in it, then (which you only need to do once because that’s the tutorial for it) AC Mirage is one of the best game in the series imo though the combat is iffy. Easily in the top 5, especially in stealth
@@jane1975I still have yet to get those 2 Lost Archive DLC achievements on the Xbox One. I think only 0.08% of players got it last time I checked. I'm glad Mirage is toning things down with the content and getting all the achievements/trophies after how long Odyssey and especially Valhalla were.Took me a year to get all the achievements on Valhalla.
I am so bitter about Revalations. I completed the main story with all the optional challenges and just had a few collectibles to clean up, but my PS3 died before I was ever able to get it so I was never able to platinum that game
I've finished the Ezio Collection myself and platinum'd all three and it's kinda upset me. A game from my childhood... that I no longer wish to play because there's nothing left. :(
started this journey last year, got all the plats up to Unity atm. Skipped AC4 due to the multiplayer, but still planning to atleast plat Origins. (imma skip syndicate, cuz ugh)

So i did 2, then i did 90% of Brotherhood just need some flag mop ups and misc missions. Anything hard is already done, but yeah i just put it down and havent bothered going back yet. Maybe 2024 is the year for the 100%
They can seriously burn you out so I don't blame you for stopping but hey, the hard works done may as well get those 100%s this year!

I done ac2 in the collection. Im close with ac brotherhood but trophy about using a broom on a guard has glitched. Ive done it 25+ times. Never unlocked 😢

These games were a lot of fun to get the platinum but I think my favorite ac out of all the games I’ve played so far is definitely origins

I seem to be one of the only people that doesn't like black flag, got it when I was younger and just felt it was a "Ship sailing simulator"
I think the appeal of Black Flag is more so pirates than assassin's creed. Like the amount of good pirate games is so little so for me, it was a best of both worlds kinda deal!

I ran through and got the Plat. in The Ezio Collection on my PS5 like last year? Thanks to them removing that Multiplayer and those Trophys... Enjoyed every minute of it. Already done AC2 X360 on my Series X and will run through the Trilogy again at 60fps on XsX later 👌
Done AC3 on PS4 and Liberation on PS3/PS4. AC Rogue on everything too (PS3/PS4/X360/Xbone) love that game, basically mixes the best of AC4 (the Gameplay and overall Design) and AC3 (Locations and stuff) plus a ton of totally New stuff.

I wouldn't say Brotherhood is hard, it just has you completing a lot more missions. Outside of the tank mission though it's pretty cruisy

@@MayorHairBear Rogue and Unity came out at the same time in 2014 I think. Unity came out with the Ps4 and Xbox One dropped and then Rogure dropped for Ps3 and Xbox 360
I was working on ACU and have had to give up 25 hours in, the game is just so bad and so broken its ridiculous and i cant bring myself to keep grinding it out 😭

@@MayorHairBear not in my experience, but it isn't just the bugs, the game is just bad in general, stealth doesn't work, the parkour and climbing is clunky and awkward, combat is stiff and unresponsive, you get stuck on the environment everywhere etc, 😭

would have loved to get both the ps3 and ps4 trophy sets for the trilogy but now I can't because multiplayer went offline
its honestly one of the biggest drawbacks of ps3 trophy hunting since a lot of the games included MP modes just for the sake of it and had multiplayer trophies for them that are now unobtainable
Yeah for the most part I agree about the modern day sections in the AC series. It was mildly interesting in the first game from a story perspective, a nice little framing device. Definitely worst part of the gameplay but I was intrigued on what the AC gameplay would look like in the modern/slightly futuristic era. I still think it could be a decent idea if they went in the vein of an open world, third person shooter, with a heavy epmphasis on their social stealth system, with maybe more traditional ones as well like in MGS or Splinter Cell, but it'll never happen.
Then ACII came out and I realized that the modern day sections are just going to suck no matter what because of the melee focused gameplay they wanted to do. Plus the overall conspiracy was ruined by it just being aliens and also tied to the even stupider Mayan calender doomsday bs. I definitely checked out of the Desmond story after that.
Admittedly I was a little curious again on what they would do after the ending of ACIII for the modern day sections or if we might do away with them entirely. Imagine my disappointment when I pick up Black Flag to see they've decided to go back to the investigative walking simulator from the first game but this time it's in first person and also you're an employee of a vr game developer using animus technology with the meta context of making the AC game you're currently playing. Haven't played anything past Black Flag but I doubt it's ever really improved since then.

This series used to be my all time favorite and now I don’t even keep up with it lol. It’s insane the damage games like odyssey and Valhalla have done. I even look at origins differently, it’s heavily carried by Bayek and abubakar salims performance. Also I really think you should try playing ac1 again. I was just like you I never really liked it and the ezio trilogy was by far my favorite. But playing it recently it’s become my second fav assassins creed game of all time. It’s the game that makes you feel the most like an assassin imo. sure repetitive sometimes but it’s so good man. I’m kinda glad I completed it for the first time last year because I don’t think I would have appreciated it as much if I played it in the glory days of ac.

@@MayorHairBear yep. I loved Origns so I got Odyssey and hated still got the season because it was on sale and I got AC3 remastered with it for free. Even after I hated Odyssey(which I’m currently playing and not having a fun time) I still preordered the ultimates edition of Valhalla and I like it a little more than Odyssey but it’s got so much bloat especially since I’m one of those people that likes clearing the map. Still preordered Ragnarok which I haven’t even touched. Then I pre ordered Mirage because people said it was good. I like it more than Valhalla but that isn’t saying much but I’ve also just started. I plan on preordering Shadows and am prepared to not like it but still slurp it down because I’ve been a part of this franchise for to damn long.

I'm the opposite to you. I always assume that EVERYONE platinums EVERY AC game, and that I'm a pathetic loser if I don't do it, too.
Of course, that's far from the truth, but it's the "feeling" I have with every game I play. So.......I platinum everything I play.
