These guys are cool because they own their coolness. They aren't afraid of it. And they're aware that it's just a role to play like any other role. Queens are on of the few authentically cool bands around.

I liked your questions because I think it's pretty easy to sense disingenuous pokes at information to try and get 'original' questions from popular figures, but I feel like they sensed your fandom, clear appreciation for the band and music so they gave something unique back!

But to stand in awe because of another man's coolness and project that feeling of "i wish i was like him..." is kind of a turn off for, nevermind a girl witnessing it, but another man watching.

Josh - I know you'll never watch this interview back, I know you'll never read this comment, but "Perception is truth, right?" is a phrase only a villain would use in such flagrant a way.
If I could sit, sip tea & hold a discussion with you on that point, I think we'd both find it enlightening, but we'd end up coming to no better true understanding than the centuries of global philosophy already unfurled before us.

Homme is annoying seriously. The guy is so full of himself it's almost comical to watch. He's one of those guys who thinks every single thing that comes out of his mouth is worthy of getting tattooed or to be thought over deeply. It gets tiresome after the first couple of minutes. I know personally I could never hang out with him he's too into his own shit, doesn't really care or listen to others opinions and always has his own. It must be exhausting to always try as hard as he does.
