- Oh no! Ron is missing, and Marty is in a panic!
In this gripping & dramatic episode of "Joy Junction," we see good ol' Sheriff Dan kick off the show, but wait! Someone is missing!!!
Ron told Marty to wait there, because later, he was going to take Marty to "the new restaurant" double-wubble triple-dipple hamburgers.. And for desert, Marty is going to have watermelon pie... WOW (he just hopes they make it with peanut butter crust. Mmmmmm)..
But Ron hasn't shown up yet! Where's Ron?!? (a better question, is if Ron isn't there, who's working Marty?!?) Something bad must have happened to him!!! Marty is feeling sad and discouraged, even considering leaving the show and going to play ball with "Joey"....
Until FINALLY, the cherubic, sweet, goodhearted, lovable, huggable Ron Brown (who has a puppet upon his chest, not a baby) RETURNS, filled with flimsy excuses as to where he's been (tied up, traffic, busy stores, the usual guilty spiel that cheating spouses like Audrey Meisner tends to drop) and LITTLE MARTY REJOICES!!!
Wow, that Ron sure is a great guy! Using his lateness to teach Marty a valuable lesson witnessing about the Lord's return.. I just KNOW a God fearing man like Ronald MUST have lived an abundant life in Christ after the series ended!!!

Ronald William Brown was a ventriloquist puppeteer on a television program called Joy Junction, a variety show on the Christian Television Network. In 2013, he received a 20-year sentence for child pornography charges.
A forensic review of Brown's electronic media showed that he possessed hundreds of images of child pornography and child erotica, including various images showing children being bound and tortured. Additionally, Brown had hundreds of images of deceased children. In chats with various individuals, Brown discussed abducting, torturing and murdering children.
Of course, when this story broke in 2013, my channel was the ONLY PLACE to see footage of Ron & Marty in action. Lots of swipes, nary any video source credit given.....

He died in 2020. I don't know the cause, but I'm sort of guessing it was probably COVID, because the pandemic really hit the prisons hard.

Well, thankfully ol' Ron was sent to jail (and died I think?) before any kids could wind up missing. Never saw any info of him getting busted previous to capture, but who knows. Guy was a scumbag regardless

Totally. I used to see this show alot as a kid (when it was current) and always felt creeped out by Ron, the puppet, the mouth, the voice... Wasn't really shocked when he was arrested, since there was always something disturbing about him

I too watched this as a kid and Ron & Marty always creeped me out.. Especially the way Marty's mouth moved, the terrible voice... Even at a young age, I knew something was wrong.. The story gets even creepier when you realize the implication is this old lady has been expecting the RAPTURE for decades and looses her faith from it *NOT HAPPENING*. They could have said something like she didn't think she needed God/Jesus but now. Have the lesson be that because an old lady hasn't seen literal hell on Earth, THAT makes her NOT believe.
