Coming from the Birmingham area, it's not a very flowing accent, it has too many pushes in the wrong places on words - The Black Country accent is like a brummie patois and faster. We usually managed to shake off the Birmingham accent to work in London or smart offices but after a few drinks or in Brummie company it comes straight back without realising.
