Connor: "Brisket NEEDS sauce" No Connor, no it doesn't. Stop eating at shitty BBQ joints. Brisket needs absolutely nothing at all when it's done right. It's moist, tender, salty, smoky, peppery, and perfect. If the brisket you're eating needs sauce, they fucked it up. Pastrami and Corned Beef are brisket as well. Condiments can enhance them, but they aren't necessary. It's not so much a "Trash Taste Take", as it is "Connor has only had garbage." Seriously.
Can someone explain the difference in flavor between the meats? Why would Connor, who probably eats steak without sauce, think it's different with brisket? It's not a rhetorical question I genuinely have never had brisket. (Knowingly)
@@destituteanddecadent9106 Steak is a broad term, there are a lot of types from different parts of the cow so I can't really say from that but what I can say is that brisket is usually greasy and has a nice bit of fat with it. Typically you eat it with BBQ sauce and with bread but it's very doable to do it alone because the juices and fat of the meat and whatever it was cooked with, are just flooding out of it. Brisket is also very tender when cooked properly so it doesn't require cutting or a lot of chewing.

Spaghetti bolognese.
@@dzello No it's sadder cause it's bri'sh, that's the lowest you can go.
53:01 As a fellow Thai, I’m strongly agree. 1 is never enough, 2 is almost there but still felt empty and 3 is just too much.
my texan heart cries over the brisket talk. it's my favorite but finding good brisket is difficult and expensive (for myself as someone stuck in small town texas).
Dude if you ever have a chance go to joes bbq in Alvin that place has some dame good food and the fries 🍟 are to die for trust me you will love it also try there half pound burger
Loving that Joey had one hungarian dish on his list 🙂 chicken paprikas is my favourite hungarian comfort food, and luckily I learned how to make it (although from experience I know that every family has its on version 😅 here in Hungary)
I loved that too! I'm not Hungarian but I learned how to make it and it's a comfort dish now 🥰
You just know this is going to be an absolute banger
After seeing Garnt’s 3x3, I’m surprised he didn’t add applesauce and baby formula into the list as well
Another episode of Connor being the third wheel in Garnt and Joey's relationship
Connor trying to defend that beer is food had me crying
Connor: "Brisket NEEDS sauce"
No Connor, no it doesn't.
I scrolled so far to find someone else who thought this exact thing. If ya eat proper bbq/brisket you'll understand how wrong he is.
i think connor is just being connor lol. "it needs sauce" and "too fatty" in the same thought about brisket
As a Texan, when he said that, I had to stop and make sure I was hearing this nonsense right.
1:05:54. One of the rare examples of Garnt and Connor teaming up against Joey
How do you make beans on toast better?
Connor: Make it a completely different thing.
He does not describe making it better, he is just describing a cooking method.
@@MyVanir Going from ''beans on toast'' to ''beans on toast under cheese under an egg'' is a cooking method?
It's pretty much a buck Rarebit apart from melting the cheese with bit of booze in it.
@@dzelloit’s the same exact thing as adding an egg or cheese to shin ramen. Doesn’t change the fact that you’re eating instant noodles
adding cheese is pretty normal for beans on toast. fried egg maybe not but it's still part of the british bread extended universe.
saying spaghetti bolognese is the worst pasta had me ready to throw hands
Yessir I usually agree with a lot of Connor's takes but I was ready to throw hands with that one.
OK, I never watched this originally when it came out 2 months ago but man the new Trash Taste ep 191 was actually pretty decent so I decided to watch this. I am glad this exists! You guys seem to actually enjoy doing the podcast again. Seems you guys course corrected the show to have less tours and make more quality, fun episodes.
I love how half of the episode is Garnt and other half is Connor and Joye
If Garnt likes the edge pizza he needs to try Chicago-style thin crust pizza. Also known as tavern style, cut into squares, typically with green bell pepper and sausage toppings.
For homemade version after rolling out the dough to circular size, you just leave it out overnight to crisp up (J Kenji Lopez Alt video). Or you can pre-bake it for 5-10 mins in oven, then add toppings
that thin crust style is st louis style...
but it's not from Pizza Hut
@@sawachan_desu i like the thin crust style what had the hollowed crust! does that make a difference towards u to understand????
I think this is the only episode where their channel name is actually in the title of the episode itself! 😂
"you cant have beer as food!"
me looking at my broke friend who survived on PBR for 2 weeks until his paycheck cleared
Breakfast cakes are underrated. There's a reason why cakes feel very out of place for lunch and dinner, because other main courses fill you up better.
But breakfast, when your taste buds are dull and 'tacky', having something sweet just jump starts your appetite and makes your day way better.
garnts 3by3 containing the exact packet of noodles i am currently cooking caught me so off guard god
Not even 15 minutes in and the takes are spicy. I didn’t know there was a person out there that hates a fresh Mc Donald’s hash brown.

Clowning Joey for the Spagbol and Watermelon while Connor has Beans on Toast on his is insane
Yeah, I'm siding with Joey. Spagbol and watermelon over beans on toast ANY DAY!!!
30:04 has got to be one of the greatest out of context clips this season
1:37:16 Add this one for a wombo combo
Thank you both for these time stamps 🤣🤣
We need a 3x3 of worst foods, that wouldn't be controversial at all and I like that.
It'll be controversial because lots of people will be like, "How the f*** is that a worst food!?" with their picks.
1:21:12 Garnt really love flavors. His Southeast Asian gene will let him enjoy Sichuan cuisine the most from other Chinese cuisines I think. Sichuan is also a humid and hot place as Thailand, so I think people from the similar climate has the similar cuisines and similar taste (love spice and flavor)!
Finally! Someone else who does not care about the texture of the food. What a good take.
garnt really told his stylist to make him look like a villian in a bond movie and it WORKS
To my knowledge beans on toast is not a thing in Mexico but as a Mexican with a surplus of beans I’ve had beans on toast quite often, I think the idea came from wanting a ham and bean tostada but then I realized I didn’t have premade tostadas so toast was the best quick replacement 😅
Molletes are just beans on toast done right
@@liano9711 bro, this is me finding out they have a name lol
20 mins in the video. i am waiting for Connor to say his favourite food is beans on toast 😂
Always good to see the important topics on this podcast.
Jamaican food has smoked meat - traditional jerk is a kind of style of smoking meat in a specific spice rub!
There's something immensely satisfying about listening to Connor imitate an English accent
Connor not liking cake is so surprising.....my man has the biggest cake in the whole world
