Holy cow! I'm into mostly hardcore punk, especially early 80s stuff, but I haven't heard a single song from The Razillos that I don't love! This band is so lit! They were on fire! Wow!
I loved The Revillos/Rezillos and The Skids...but Faye and Eugene blew 'em off stage in this episode. Magnificent! I was lucky enough to see them a few times and they always put on a great show...such chemistry!
I saw them twice at The Nash in Grangemooth, circa 1979/80 and it was wild rock'n'roll up tempo heaven! Ye jist dinny get that anywhere these days, apart from possibly Marseille.
They're still touring. I saw em Live in Bristol a couple of months ago... with The Undertones. Fantastic night! (Didn't play Motorbike beat but you can't have everything). Go see 'em mate!
Yeah, I've seen a few recent live performance videos on youtube but they make me cringe. Kudos to Faye & Eugene for still getting up on stage and rockin' out but it's a pale imitation of their performances 40+ years ago and it's just not for me. I'm too fussy I'm afraid.
I dunno about you but I'm not as good as I was 40 years ago either. I still gave it some on the dancefloor & moshpit and had a brilliant time. Both bands rocked it. Probably best if you stay home and watch the latest young acts on TV tho, rather than go to a gig if it would make you cringe. @@jimbobt1
@@antigen4 Kind of. The Revillos are basically the Rezillos after Joe Callis left them and went to join the Human League. The Revillos have more of a B52s sound (or the B52s ripped them off to be honest)
@@anonb4632 oh bizarre - i saw a docu thing on the human league and they just painted her as this 'club girl' they hired rather than someone with actual singing experience
Sheilagh's (Fay) still giein' it laldy today... respect! The Countess of Fife and the Rezillos. That's George (Felix) on bass and he was only in the Revillos for a very short time.
One of the best Bands, of all Times! Totally underrated! Great Style, great Rock'n Roll! It's a pity ,that i must be 60- 62, to see this great Guys! Torsten , East Germany! ❤

They're like the heterosexual B-52's.
What a kids show this was. Kids now couldn't handle anything like this now, their iPhones would pop.
😂👍

One band I wish I’d seen live. Motorbike Beat is immense and should have been MASSIVE.

B52s copy that band 😂
Ain't the Rezillos just the coolest thing you ever seen?
and The Revillos!
Yes, pretty much!
I love their punk attitude! Damn Faye was unleashed on the stage....
FMG, Fay back then was the total bolluxx!
What energy, raw talent - leaves today's sterile groups in the dark
even though the image is meant to be funny its ultra cool. the three girls are goddesses!
A Loved Them, still Do x
Started out in 1976, same year as the B52s. Both bat shit crazy. Love them both.
Loved them both as Rezillos and Revillos a great era.
are they the same band?? so confused - look the same - sound the same

Ahh !! There's some Revettes !!!
Yes mate they were, 2 members left so they went from Rezillos to Revillos.
I watch this performance every few days. It blows me away! Thanks so much for posting it!!!
you have fine taste...my freind..

I remember watching this live and marvelling at the sheer energy. The Skids (!) were also on the show and looked completely pedestrian.
I had motorbike beat as a single. Fucking awesome!
Ear rings straight off the Xmas tree - love it
My first real 'gig' was the Revillos at the Venue, Victoria - we had to run to catch the last train but at least it wasn't far. Epic.
me and my gran dyed our legs orange the next day
😂😂😂
Faye is such a mover....
god,,,this woman...can....move,,.not seen .the...like..
Who came out these our the b52s first
B52s slightly after i think!
They were such fun. Maybe the most enjoyable gig i ever saw was them.
for a second there i thought the b-52s has gone british... until i noticed they were somebody else.
Wait til Scottish independence, they won't be very "British" then.
What a marvellous performance from this great band!
I met Eugene Reynolds the other week; still out riding old Indian motorcycles, legend
Seymour stein head of sire records.elton John recommended them to him ,......FFS another band gone... 👃
Fantastic Eugene's quiff is outstanding and Fay Fyfe all of that energy , just brilliant 👏 👌 👍
that was fantastic, first time i've seen this clip.
Just seen Rezzilos Last week Carlisle Old Fire Station, really Good, the Venue was Great , Good Staff 👍, great Support Band
They had some awesome songs....these were 2 of their best for me. Better than ANYTHING today....

I'm 66 Torsten and saw them at The Nash in Grangemouth, Scotland in '79 and '80. It was fuckin brilliant!
@@jimthomson7987 Uhh, you lucky Guy!! 👍👍. By the Way, i ❤️❤️Scotland!! T., from East Germany!
I remember finding the single "She's Fallen In Love With A Monster Man" and was hooked.
back..again...the...start....of...this ..song...is....unreal.....
It has a touch of the Ramones' "Rock and Roll Radio" at the beginning.
Saw 'em in '79. funny as f**k
Had the single.
My favorite one.!!!!!
Where's the boy for me
Just wow.
Peter Macdonald loves Them Mt HomeTown There’s 2 Talent Everywhere
Die Mädels sind super!
LUV IT!!! LUV IT!!!
This is a brilliant performance
And...... Just as exciting now as then
They were always good value band!!
Great memories, brilliant!!!
wernt the rezzilos tho
At least half of them were in the Rezillos. Callis went off and joined the Human League
Astonishing talent.
