It is my first time doing one of these! Sorry about my shakiness with my camera it is hard to film and show things at the same time lol! This is just a quick overview and I tried to be as detailed as I could!

Tip with working out of your home, leave your address off your cards and websites just say you work out of your home studio and they can inquire about your address. I made the mistake of giving mine out! Give it out ONLY to clients when they are looking to book an appointment! I want all of you to be safe!

I’ve been a cosmetologist in Louisiana for 17 years and I just recently completed training and received my lash certification! I’m in the very beginning stages of this part of my business and haven’t started taking clients and I’m only practicing on friends and family at this point. I enjoyed your studio tour. I’ll be lashing in the salon I currently work in but would love to see your storage solutions including cabinets, shelving and containers that you may store supplies in. I’m also interested in a video showing what products and brands you use and why you like them. I hope I’m not asking too much but I’m soaking in as much info as I can right now and I really enjoy your videos! Thanks for all the support and inspiration!!

If you hate the brown color on the background you should spray paint it . You can choose the color and seal it with a clear polyurethane and put the flower lights back on it . I think that would be really pretty if you're not afraid of a little 1-2 day project. I'd also love to see the inside of the cupboard !

Working from home just started in March. I don't advertise but relying on my volunteers of spreading the word to their friends. i enjoy your videos, however my set up is not that large. I turned my mud room into my lash studio. I work on my mann everyday since i don't have clients daily

Hey girl! I was wondering if you could do a video on going from a job to lashing as your job full time? I'm scared since I'm new to lashing and don't have much of a client base since I work full time, I only have 2 days open a week to do lashes.. :( i have a ton of bills and barely make enough to cover that. I'm very slow lashing right now! :( my room is the size of an office w a huge bed so right now I just go mobile to others houses. It's exhausting honestly! Basically what would your advice be..? 😢 or could you do a video on how to you transition and starting out?

I loved your Studio Tour, I just send a friend request to IG. I have SO MANY questions. Celia in Jax Fl went to school cause I love lash extentions, I did my 1st set on a mannequin on Saturday and it was a total DISASTER 😭 NOT as easy as I thought, seperating the lashes was difficult for me. Also the right eye easier than the left, how to I position myself??? Thank you for putting yourself here to help 😘

I just found your channel and omg I love it lol you have answered so many questions I’ve had Ive been in training to get my certification and I’m ALMOST done. Except I am SO SLOW... 😭 I’m training with ALS (amazing lash studio) and they are VERY strict on the timing it MUST be under 2 hours (a full set) by the end of the two week training or they’ll cut me and OMG IM STRESSED LOL. Also if you can do a video on taping that would be SO HELPFUL I find taping harder than isolation personally... anyways I’m rambling but you have a new subscriber know LOL
It is very normal to be slow at first!! My first couple sets took me about 4 hours!! Thats crazy that they want you to be at 2 hours in 2 weeks, that takes a lot of models to get the practice to get your time down to that fast!! Keep practicing girl!! I can for sure do a taping video

Hey Danielle, great video! I’m interested in becoming a lash technician I live in Atlanta, Georgia. The only thing I’m not sure about rules and regulations in my state about lash techs but there are so many people here who lash without being licensed 🤷🏽♀️. Also a lot of the lash tech teach classes to gain more income which is interesting.
hmm, this is the link to regulations depending on what state you are in! Some states have more required than other, and here in Canada all you need is a certificate. Definitely follow the regulations in your state because we don't want you to get in trouble if anything ever happened! People doing it without licenses are very brave and could get into trouble! and without a license you might not be informed on all the things that you need to know about health and safety!
This is correct, I own Winked By Q located in Atlanta, GA and Bluffton,SC. I too, was curious about licensing when I moved to Georgia because I see so many illegal lash techs but both states do require you to be licensed by the state. Sophia, feel free to call Georgia’s Licensing Board, they’re really friendly and helpful!

Most state requires you to be an Esthetician or cosmetologist license first. Then you can get certified in lash. Because it falls under hair..example like waxing. A lot of people don’t know this and a lot of people that give the courses don’t inform the student so it just gets overlooked. I seen so many videos on TH-cam and I still have not seen anyone mention it. Sanitation is a big deal in the states too!

Hi there could you please like talk about how you build your clientele I just have my business now at home and I am finding it very difficult to build clientele and I've been at last check for about 3 years but I've always gone to people's homes which haven't hasn't been the easiest thing to do with the humidity and everything I just feel like I can't control the climate so now I do it at my place and I'm trying to get clientele but I'm not really sure the best way to go about it.
