I’m told by many tuners that the AMG GT R cannot hit 700hp due to the size of the turbos. Max you could get is around 670hp and even then it’s not across the whole rev range I.e no flat torque curve. Flat torque curve can be achieved around 640hp
iPE's website only lets you buy the full exhaust system, which includes high-flow cats, resonators and remote-controlled valves (judging by the photos, description is very "marketing"), hence the loud but clean sound. Also the substantial power increase (≈700 wheel hp compared to ≈570 crank hp stock) leads me to believe that the full system is what the owner would want anyway.
Was this on 93 octane ,on stock turbos? Cause if so, those intercoolers are a game changer. It seems like Wagner got it figured out finally. They need to make some C63 w205 charge coolers now. Usually with the same mods no intercoolers you see around 550whp. Yours is 700whp That’s +150whp just for intercooler upgrades.
No they don’t change the sound. 1 thing that concerns me about the eventuri intake on the GT is the filter housing is now closer to the engine, so likely to get more heat. Also I’ve heard some people say yellowing on the carbon over time from heat. I personally think the factory intake is the best overall. A set of BMC filters would probably do if you really wanted.
I’ve missed these dyno vids
Sounds great, that transmission shifts so fast 👍
Love how it pops.

*AMG GT Black Series has left the chat*
i dont think those 'iPE downpipes' have got any catalytic converters in them judging by the sound

If it didn't have cats, the pops and bangs would be louder for sure.
The AMG map will drive nicer and will feel more linear you can see it on the dyno graph.
That beautiful sound❤❤
did you give the ECU tuning guy a head cam or did you drive on the dyno?

100 Ron/ 94 oct, stock turbos
That’s because in Europe all the dynos are converted to BHP for some reason. It’s not at the wheels. Just look for a similar run in the US for WHP.
Neive - Cuneo - Italy ❤️
Do those intakes change the sound of the engine? Can you hear a difference from inside or outside with the eventuris?

Wow more videos
👍👍👍
Are they AWD????? Thought they were RWD
4 wheel dyno RWD car
why are the front wheels spinning? :p
It's so the ECU doesn't go crazy, that's what happens on all dynos.
awosomeeeeee
NO1
Haha, goddamn windows fucking 95 interface in 2022 :))))))))))))))) It works though!
🥰🥰🥰🥰😍
hi.
Powerful
Hopefully they figure out how to tune the farting out.
