- Hi all! Come join me for a realistic day of getting myself together after a couple of days of mental unwellness.
I’ve added no music to this video and I’ve minimized the amount of jump cuts to portray as much accuracy as possible.
As always, I am extremely grateful to be able to live nomadically at this point in my life. But being on the road doesn’t stop your mental health from catching up to you at times. 🌝

I joined the United States Marine Corps when I was 17. You go girl.
I'm a 63 yr old grandma who wants to say, go easy on yourself honey & nobody thinks a thing about drive thru's. No one thinks a thing about it. I highly suggest a older wise female mentor. You're super cool & more than enough. You're doing great!
The cold sores indicate your body needed to rest. It’s perfectly fine to just chill out. You get to chill in a beautiful location.
25 years working Psychiatric and I have 3 traumatic brain injuries from childhood and resulting Bipolar. I had 8 years of anxiety attacks and depression so I learned a way to shut that down for good. Positive self talk that is loving, truthful and comforting. You are too hard on yourself with high expectations so ONLY be kind to yourself and be your best friend. Also we feel normal when we make ourselves do normal things like go for a walk , take photos, or sit on a sunny exposure.
It's ok to curl up in bed like a cat sometimes when you are tired and stressed but set a 2-3 day limit.
Keep being real Emma… your authentic share in a digital world filled with “IG-perfection” is truly valued! I made a rule when I was diagnosed with a terminal illness (13 years ago and still kicking!! 💃), I called it the 3-day rule… I could wallow, sulk, stay in bed, feel sorry for myself, eat crap, watch crap for 3 days and then I had to switch it up. It helped put a container around the space I was in, balanced with getting back up. You got this… give yourself some space, grace and compassion. ❤

I get very lonely on the road, traveling, camping. For 12 years I was with a Mexican woman and her 2 daughters. We were migrant agriculture workers, moving from 1 harvest to the next, and being seasonal wevspent a lot of time in the field or at camps, and developing small off grids.....The girls all grown up now, and I am single.....Ventured out West hoping to enloy some of the old camps, but it SO SAD😢. Alone. Ill try and move on too a new spot, burning through the gas money ....
I have my dog Buck. He was there with me back in the day with the he girls, cooking tacos on a flat rock, eating cactus. Lol.
Yeah it's hard to be alone all the time no matter how beautiful your surroundings are .I live in my car fulltime and yeah i have those periods too i hate it lol ..but i think you're really good to do what you're doing travel,trying to take care of yourself,bring us videos regularly,edit the videos,find ideas for other videos trust me you're a tough nut even if you don't feel it thank you to make my days better :) don't beat yourself too much you're a great person.

That sunset was amazing! I read someplace that sometimes we need to take time to let our soul catch up with our body. Maybe that is why we feel so disconnected when we go through slump like you just had. It is good that you took time to heal. Stay safe out there.

Please give yourself grace. No matter where you go in life, there you are. You take yourself with you on every journey so it is valid to feel like crap, even in a stunning place. We travel the world full-time, and sometimes I land in one of my favorite countries and just want to stay inside and be a homebody. Sometimes I land in a place that is on everyone's "bucket list" and just want to living normal everyday life and fully skip all the "must see" and "must do" things. It's all good, we can give our bodies and minds whatever it needs, as it needs it.
Emma I liked u after ur video with Mateo and subscribed to u but I freaking adore u after this video.. thank u for being so authentically real and vulnerable. Life no matter where u may be or what beautiful scenery u happen to wake up to can just be shitty sometimes with some sucky days unfortunately. U are amazing tho with a bomb personality always remember that even on the not so good days. I look forward to coming along on ur many adventures to come!

Emma it is so sad to hear that you´re struggling. No matter where you are, you have rights to have bad feelings and mood. It is how we all work. Even when there is literally 0 problems, our minds just can easily make some up. Take care. And remember, compared to for example my language (Czech) has English so many words with multiple meanings. About "Order" yes, nice example. In Czech is word for order in meaning of getting the things you want (drivethru, restaurants...) "objednávka" and the other meaning of order is in Czech "příkaz" :) Could be used also in the meaning of payment order... And thats why I kinda learned English so late in life

Sometimes it can feel that way when we get trapped in a little box inside our own heads, but the reality is that we all experience these times. Sometimes it's quick and easy, sometimes it lasts for days. Just keep on going! And also try camping next to people with dogs for a couple of days. 💚🐾🐾

I can relate to deeply to the feelings of shame, it's nice to hear you talk about that too. I also want to mention that it is so satisfying hearing your bus door shut from inside, and starting your car. I don't know why I enjoy that so much, but I do!

Hi Emma, it is okay to take a break once in awhile them miles can wear you thin. The only product that has worked for a cold sore is releeve cold sore treatment they have it at Walgreens.
I agree. Releeve Cold Sore treatment works. It will be worth your money. I bought mine in 2020 at Walmart. It works. I applied it 2 times and it went away for a very long time. I have used that tiny bottle only twice. That's why it's still in my medicine cabinet. As soon as you feel one coming on. Applied Releeve Cold sore treatment and it will be gone the next day.

After driving from California to Tennessee in a straight shot when I got to Gatlinburg I never felt so bad in my life. I literally scared myself. When I got back I read that I probably had altitude sickness. I guess that's a thing. I slept for two days straight. Did I spell Gatlinburg wrong? Anyways, all that driving and moving puts a toll on your body sister so you need to take care of yourself and listen to your body. Bagel and taro tea is my splurgey fav! Safe travels my friend

Dude I keep a map of Dunkin locations on me, just drove an hour out of my way on Monday to get some. I'm along the southern NM border so I even go thru border checkpoints for it.😂 if you're enjoying NM I recommend bottomless lakes state park outside Roswell. A handful of beautiful crater lakes with hills and trails teeming with precious minerals, a sparkling wonderland. Bonus: Roswell's Dunkin has a 22ft alien statue holding the sign

I grew up in Queens. You should visit and van camp here in Texas! You'll love it in the spring. Summer can be hot here but South Texas is cool.
Hey Emma, keep covering up your plates or blurring them because worst case scenario someone can report a fake crime and said you did it.
If someone knows your plates and your last name and state, they can find your home address easily. You could also considering registering your vehicle to a UPS box address along with your driver's license for more privacy. You can also get around vehicle emissions testing that way if you have counties in your state that don't require testing.
