I think a great benchmark for performance would be going to any of the caravans, or showing some of the boss fights that have a lot of particle effects or adds (Rennala or Radahn maybe?)
I currently use the Lenovo Legion 5p with a RTX 2060, i5-10300H 2,5GHz, and 16 GB of RAM, and whilst it runs Elden Ring decently, it doesn't run it as well as I would like. Would you recommend a laptop with the specs in this video, for someone like me?
@@PCSupportGamingTest Oh yes! That's true and a lot of these new 3000 series run at a lower wattage then the previous generation laptops, which just fucks the performance. Kind of annoying.
I have that same setup except 16gb of ram and I'm about to buy the game. This video was the deciding factor. As long as it can run, even at minimal settings, I'd just like to experience the game.
@@PCSupportGamingTest I have the same laptop and my fps is around 45-50, temps are high 92°C on cpu and 85°C gpu even though I recently re-pasted, Gpu usage is around 80-90% and Cpu is 40-50%.
depends on the game, ram, and cpu sometimes even the motherboard its called bottlenecking its kinda hard to explain but in some scenarios 2 of those things dont work the best when put together its common in laptops thats why overclocking helps a lot in these situations

I have the same performance , it's a Shane the 95% usage on the GPU. I have my doubts on this game's optimization. I don't know if the GPU usage Is due to optimus or just the optimization.
Why do I have low fps in full screen mode, the laptop is exactly the same as in the video? I have 5 fps for example in mafia definetive edition in full screen mode but window mode i have 60 fps ( I have acer nitro 5 i5 11400H rtx 3050 4 gb )
Its probably your game didnt use the VGA but the onboard card, that causes the extreme low fps, you can find how to fix this issue on the internet, good luck.
@@dangardus3205 if you look up stuff like "games not detecting my gpu" and so there is literally tons of solutions out there...strange you couldnt find it...but...instead of going on a tangent and looking that up (will probably tell you to disable the integrated card) you might wanna check if you can disable the optimus system on the laptop not sure if this laptop has a MUX toggle though...

I can't fight with bosses in this game, I always die whenever I fight with bosses
I wish you'd show later areas, like Farum Azula. The tornado there and the whole layout are really taxing.

Also your CPU will most likely be the bottleneck, but it should perform better in GPU intensive games

Some people have been complaining about the pc optimization so it's probably that. It might be fixed on future updates tho.

Even if it's 16gb your ram might be 1rx16, you should upgrade to a 1rx8 ram should perform 20% better in some games

I have about the same pc but 12500h but i am only using about 70% of gpu max (a little note my elden ring is cracked idk if it can cause problems)
Because elden ring can't give more than 60 fps
