Another piece of information: They didn’t just ask her out of the blue to sing the demo. She already was part of the ensemble for the movie and they knew her voice. That’s why she was asked to sing the demo.
Thanks for that contextual information. That tells us that while it might sound more magical if it were by random choice it in reality was that Loren put herself into the opportunity for to be familiar & called up by the composer & director or whomever in the movie. So she chased so many opportunities to be heard including previously "The Voice" afew years earlier. She didn't give up after losses heading to the top when it was a question earlier on. But she did go to selected a top vocal coach whom also coaches another emerging star Emma Kok. Both students are very accomplished but @CherylPorter also on TH-cam is a great singer but a fun, but thorough coach of vocal techniques & voice strengthening & that gives one confidence to song storytelling or sing story tell. And that is the difference between a great technical singer & a magical one- it's have the resonance formula, where the whole song varies between soft & belt & not so familiar as the original although identifiable melody from the original enough. Syndie Christmas in BGT 2024 is showing some of the same techniques in Annie's Tomorrow. That building & patient variety is the emotional sweet spot & both of those singers demonstrate it in masterclass fashion.
@@CathainSeo Yes, Sydnie is also a Master at controlling the emotional level of a song, as she showed again last night with My Way. If you’re interested, there are a few videos of The Greatest Showman where Loren, wearing a red scarf, is happily singing in the front row as part of the ensemble: th-cam.com/video/XLFEvHWD_NE/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/PluaPvhkIMU/w-d-xo.html
@@lawrenceb5236 excellent thanks for the links. Yes she is & reached for the notes again. I think she took a more classical blues approach I think with my way & her belt was powerful. I think it could well be Sydnie v Innocent Masuku for the final. Both actually what a duet they could perform after the show finishes,& they go out releasing songs. I have a feeling she can sing opera but I feel she's well capable to learn even if not yet. Likewise would be interesting if innocent ordered other styles. This is where someone like the 3rd finalist can mix it & that's without vocal singing mpersonations what's his name? 🤦 But if Dimash Qudaibergan applied he'd probably be able to beat them both but they are both top notch within their genre. I thought both are funny but innocent pulled in his humour which is a pity as Simon made the point about stuffy classical
Hi coach, love your videos and reactions. Would recommend Loren on the following week when she sang "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and pay attention to the one breath she takes in the middle of the song and how much she extends that. Probably the most beautiful rendition of that song I have ever heard, just like this is the best version of Never Enough.
Hello again. So glad you took my suggestion in your “Pitch Correction” video to hear Loren Allred for the 1st time. I’m used to you reacting to Lucy Thomas, so when this video popped up, I was so happy because I knew you would be blown away by her performance. Every time someone else raises the bar on Never Enough, Loren takes it to another level. Fantastic reaction too. By the way, Loren also sang “No Promises To Keep” recently. It’s actually part of a new video game called Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. There’s a live performance at the Video Game Awards show in December and also a separate release with the video game that some people have posted by itself with her voice, but scenes from the game.
Hi, Coach. Loren Allred is one fantastic singer. She came here to the Phils in 2021 for a 1-night concert and sang Regine Velasquez' Araw Gabi and she was awesome! Glad you're able to react to her. On a side note, I miss your RVs on SB19. Wish Bus recently released Ilaw and so far that's the best version. Hope you can check it out. God bless!
Loren Allred was sexually abused by record executives and when she said, No, they dropped her from the recording contract. One of the reasons why she thought it was better being behind the scenes.
I totally understand what you were saying about "Stage Fright". When in my late teens and early twenties, I was taking singing lessons. There was a concert held in a local senior home and we were all asked to sing one piece. Sitting in an arc on the stage, we came up to the mic one at a time. I was singing Vilia from The Merry Widow. Started singing and thought I was going to pass out, everything went black. My teacher sang possibly 3 or 4 bars and then I managed to pick it up and competed my piece. Have never been on stage since and that was about 50 years ago. I still absolutely love singing, but only at home when I'm on my own. Wish I had had the courage to do it again and overcome my nerves. Thank you for your reactions and analysis.
Audiences in these competitions always thrill at the powerfully belted out high notes, but an even greater test of a singer's talent for me is to make soft and low vocals sound just as good. It's not easy to sing in a low volume and still maintain the support to project properly. Loren has that ability.
Juliet, this is better than what she sang on the reveal performance on BGT/AGT. You now who I advocate and Lucy Thomas has a video of this on her channel as well as a TV interview in Ireland (also on her channel) where she sings it live and we also got some of her backstory. Lucy (at 14 or 15 yrs) did an amazing job of covering this one. There's a little problem with not a good enough windscreen (TV interview) and it let through some breath noises. Take a look at Lucy's version.
I did watch it recently, and thought it was fantastic! And I loved hearing her interview too, that was the first time I watched Lucy where it wasn’t just singing lol! 👍
@@YourOnlineSingingCoach Same here, I really liked getting her backstory and also hearing that speaking with British accent her singing diction doesn't reflect that ( IMHO )
I have a grandma that's a retired music teacher, choir conductor and I can sing I just have a few issues with strain, I am a belter but so scared to sing out sometimes because to my ear it sounds super pitchy I auditioned for idols in 2012 but that was before my voice was ready
Dear Y.O.S.C., Did you ever see Loren's original audition on BGT? If you haven't (I mean what's done is done.), but I wish you could've experienced that one, first. It would've made quite a difference on the way you see this one, I think. I couldn't stop listening to that at first. Listening to this one now, having heard the other so many times; the first, I believe, tops this one. In fact, I didn't think that the original could be topped, not even by Loren herself. There was just something about that particular performance, that's just not like any other that I've seen, this one included. True, there's been some improvements, and the WOW factor is there. But.....I guess it's just me. Anyway that's the way I see it.
That's a really powerful voice I like that but I saw Lucy Thomas in a video with the same song and I think she was 13 ,14 or 15 years old ? and that was really outstanding 👌👍👌👍 I like both but Lucy is more natural and I like that a lot 💥👌👍
It really depends. If the person who sings the song has good enough acting abilities, then yes for sure. If not then why risk the quality of the rest of the movie for the singing aspect?
Increíble la cantidad de veces que paras la actuación ,y además mientras ella canta no paras de hablar y no dejas de hacer comentarios. Mejor dejar escuchar la cantante y luego hacer una valoración, es mi opinión personal.
You should really listen to Morissette Amon sing this song on the wish bus. To me, she's the best female singer on this planet like Dimash is the best singer on the planet. You will NOT be disappointed. I promise.
Her voice is absolute perfection at its very best
I'm glad she has been recognized. 😊

A superstar, right there.
You have a beautiful voice!
Love your reaction❤.
This song always make me cry, and I never cry. Thank you for sharing.
The best reaction to this performance yet. You really know your stuff and I think you hit every aspect of her performance dead on. Well done.
This version is different than the previous version. I think that this one is a lot better than the original
Oh yea! This one gave me the feels like Sydnie Christmas’s performances. This was an incredible performance from Loren
Goosebumps from head to toe 😮😮😮
👏👏👏 Well, to me, she looks and sounds ready to become more successful. Good luck to her 🍀
You should take a look at her on @thefirsttake singing No Promises to keep with Nobuo Uematsu
Absolut Loran Allred Waaaaaau 😍😍😍🔥🎼🦋🌿💃❤🤘👍👍👍Incredible Bueatiful voice & performens...............thanks.............🤘👍

11:41 = What they refer to in the movie " EUROVISION SONG CONTEST: The Story Of Fire Saga " as the " Spirit Note " 😉

You're a world-class singer, Juliet!! :)) Just discovered this channel. No Serial Killer.

Please check Morissette’s version performance with David Foster concert in the Philippines
❤
I want to hear what the reaction will be if you listen to P Ariani's version, especially at the end of the song which is very beautiful

Loren and Lucy are my 2 favorite singers. Lucy sings the old version. I’d love to see her sing the newer version with the slide up at the end, etc.
Indah sekali

Her and David Foster would be a great team up, and saying Mel B. is a singer was funny. 😉
you know your stuff. true , f highest she ever does.
Try to listen Morissett Amon sang that song maybe you will amaze try please
Pleace react never enough by putri ariani
I am sure it’s wonderful! 👍
No comparison
Try Gabriel same song

Want to make sure you all know she was the voice in the movie. The actress lip synced to her vocals.
She sang with David Foster...Obviously didn't go well. I hope the disconnect was mutual. Also, in the finals of the voice. They should bring her back
What are you talking about? She just toured with David Foster in Indonesia last Fall.

Loren is great but morissette is much more better than u. In my opinion. Tnx
