Banning celebrities from endorsing alcoholic beverages will not solve the problem. Instead, the government should implement a law requiring people to show their ID card to prove they are over 18 when purchasing alcohol.

Akufo-Addo needs someone with the expertise to help the creative industry set up policies, rules, guidelines and regulations to streamline the operations of the industry. Egyapa Mercer fits well into that bill. He's a well proven lawyer with excellent corporate law background. He'll draft all the policies, regulations and the needed direction they need to go. She comes in at a time the UK is facing serious problems with the health ministry. In US, the health secretary is also a lawyer. Ghanaians must learn this and widen their scope of knowledge. When Akufo-Addo was asked why he put an accountant in a health ministry, he said Kwaku Agyemang Manu can deal with the huge debt issue left behind by Mahama and the NDC and u don't need a medical doctor to go there and deal with debt issues.
