Vote Seccombe out and lock him up

𝗩𝗢𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗕𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗛𝗜𝗠 𝗨𝗣
Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner / Countryside Alliance Member Philip Seccombe has repeatedly stated that as an operational matter he had no involvement in the CPN / secret protocol. We are left to make up our own minds whether we believe that Countryside Alliance member Seccombe had absolutely no involvement or influence on the CPN withdrawal and the subsequent secret deal.
What we do know is that Seccombe can be judged by his words and actions on this subject. Regardless of his involvement / non-involvement in the secret deal as Police and Crime Commissioner Seccombes actual job is to hold the Police and the Chief Constable to account for their actions. Over the last six months he has completely failed to do his job in holding Debbie Tedds to account over an issue that the public and residents of Warwickshire have clearly lost faith in the police over. There have been ever louder calls for transparency over this issue and yet Seccombe has remained silent on this issue. In fact Seccombes job of holding the Chief Constable to account has been done by us, Action Against Fox Hunting, Channel 4 News and MP Matt Western.
Seccombe is often vocal about other forms of antisocial behavior yet when it comes to his local fox hunt, which is supported by and represented by the organisation he is part of, the Countryside Alliance, he has been completely silent on the subject. We believe that the subject of hunting is being treated differently by Seccombe. We believe that there is a clear conflict of interest with his membership of the Countryside Alliance and therefore he must be made to step down from his role as Police and Crime Commissioner BEFORE the elections in May. It should not be our responsibility to be asking Warwickshire Police and the Chief Constable difficult questions. Neither should it fall to Channel 4 News or MP Matt Western. That is the job Philip Seccombe should have been doing over the last six months. The fact that other people have had to ask those questions on behalf of the public demonstrates a complete unwillingness to act against the interests of hunting by Philip Seccombe. For this reason he must be removed from his post.
Philip Seccombe must be removed from office. If those who hold him to account do not have the backbone to do so then he must be removed from office at the upcoming elections in May. VOTE SECCOMBE OUT.
