      She doesn't just speak she acts, which I like.. hearing things is great and all but many just say something and then do nothing. There is so much to do though and the very people paid to take responsibility are at the top of the chain and all the way down is full of the corrupt or silent or compliant ...so not only are there few voices but few who act either. And the ones who do act are up against a corrupt system of robots who just hide evidence shunt things to another department its bloody aweful.

    The misogyny; outrageous how it's normalised, especially on social media. I'm glad she's not staying quiet and using her voice. There's too much noise from men's voices and opinions, not enough women being heard.

    • @Ruth695
      @Ruth695 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @hannadd4787 it is outrageous. What happened to Andrea Abbott in Parliament was unbelievable. She was bullied and then even worse she was ignored and silenced while MPs were discussing her. @johnnywarnerperfectroad66. Yes, but it’s even worse. Now we have Mrs Thatcher’s “ private” universities, Mickey-Mouse degrees and a whole alphabet-soup of invented “qualifications”. All part of a plan to destroy to our growing access to our heritage -a treasure-house of learning and enquiry that took hundreds of years to build. It’s the dumbing-down project, the preservation of inherited privilege.

    I agree with the comments regarding the media bubble and having disgraced politicians on and treating them with deference. I have never understood how Nigel Farage obtained the huge amount of coverage over the last ten years when he was essentially a nobody. He was treated as a leader of a major political party although he wasn't even an MP and his party has been boosted as a result.

    Why isn't she Lady Vorderman, it goes against all my base principles ie abolish the Lord's, end the monarchy in government & public payouts BUT, she is an acceptance in my book.

    Many years ago, (1987-1992) teaching young adults with additional needs I used to conduct a weekly news analysis. Six newspapers. Spot the common story. Choose which story telling you think is most accurate. The Financial Times came out on top nine times out of ten.

      She probably quit because she saw she was going to be fired. If it's anything less than gross misconduct there will have been a disciplinary process and she likely jumped ship as soon as she saw which way the wind was blowing. It's not uncommon. Employers often prefer it that way.

      @@Draggonny that may well be the case but that is still not being sacked.
