Thanks again for the games and for the kind words. Still impressed you came across Mega Drive let alone Mega CD in Cash Generators. All the ones near me shut down as they were abysmal lol.
Not played that Metro but did play 2033 and Last Light which were both fantastic games, but haven't finished them.. Will have to sort that out.
Been stung a few times with trading the Mega Drive Collection into CEX. They dont take the Xbox 360 Classics version for some reason.
Gordon is by far one of the nicest people you can have the pleasure of talking to.
Glad to see you finally get a copy of Hellfire after the last one you received. There is a real nice Toaplan collection that came out for the mega drive not long ago. it has Hellfire, Zero Wing, Truxton and Fire Shark in it. They have alternative artwork sleeves that look amazing and have real nice coloured carts. Problem is the collection itself its hitting crazy prices these days. Dylan is seriously the go to guy if you need any information on Shmups.
That controller with the PS3 is a bit of a head scratcher, I am curious if it is one of them strange universal ones, if it is it must be Xbox One and above as the 360 didn't use Bluetooth I'm pretty sure.

Big fan of bike racing games. I would have suggested giving Ride a go. Its like Forza for bikes.
Actually never heard of pushover, but ill keep an eye out for it as I love a puzzler. Looks a bit like a 2D version of No One Can Stop Mr Domino. Power Piggs is a nice add to the collection but as you said the gem of that box was definitely Skyblazer. Its one thats always looked great but just never ran into it.
Good luck with that cable management. I saw a nice kallax cable management idea on Reddit a while back and I intend on doing it but its going to take so long I need to make sure I have a good couple of days free to get cracking on it.

I used to have a homemade built unit for my consoles with white pegboard on the back so the cables were zip tied out if view to keep it clean. And I drilled a circular hole like you did, but put white cable hole grommet cover in each of them from Amazon.
Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your perspective, I outgrew the unit and have been in a state of flux with a Kallax cube tv shelf that is no longer made. Only available in black and Canada doesn't offer the shelf dividers in black, only white. So I'll deal with the backing eventually. But you're giving me inspiration to get back at it because that looks so good!

When I bit my console set up did the same putting the wood on the back and strapped up all the wires then wired in a switch that turns everything on with one switch. Also built a mini box on the back to hide all the wiring so looks like one big box.

Nice, glad you finally got a nice copy of Hellfire. I got a nice megadrive game this week as well. Hopefully that ps4 won't be too much trouble to fix, I repaired a ps4 recently that had a loud fan and discs randomly ejecting - gave it a good clean out of dust in console and on dvd drive disc gears and changed the thermal paste on gpu. It worked like a charm afterwards.

Good stuff as always Callum and I’m glad you’ve been able to track down an improved copy of Hellfire. It’s a slow paced game, but gets better and better as the levels go along you get more powered up. Pure Toaplan goodness. There are a good few PAL MD shooters, but Japan is where it’s at, but some of them are CRAZY money lol. I’m happy to play them in an EverDrive lol.
Ross is a great guy and I’ve enjoyed his gameplay vids, very witty.
I’ve said it before, but Gordon is a super generous guy both in his heart and wallet and is always there for people. Wow a white PS4 Pro, even if it’s broken that’s a great gift, it’s the same model I own.
Again some great value from those charity finds. I often think why do some people do it if all you’re they’re getting is say a £5, as there must be easier ways to make a £5. But I suppose if you’re making £20/£30 an afternoon then it all mounts up.
I went with pegboard on the back of my Kallax as I’m planning on using plastic ties and thread them through the holes in the pegboard to attach all the cables to the back of the unit. It may look terrible when it’s done, but I have a feeling it may look very neat.

The new Mario movie in my opinion was average at best. Definitely more of a selling point for children. I’m still a big kid though at 41 years of age lol.

Great vlog as always, you should mod your mega drive to play 60hz it makes such a difference to the speed and makes it full screen. Pushover is a great puzzle game grew up with it on the Amiga it gets difficult

Picked skyblazer up a few years ago for £30 (cart only) it's a great game, but at the same time I also got a boxed copy of run saber for £60 - Both great but I think I neglected skyblazer to play run saber which is awesome!

Tony Hawks Underground 2 is really really worth a play through. Best Tony Hawks game in my opinion, it's still my go to when i have half an hour to kill. Give that one a go for sure!

@@RetroGhetto the remaster is just pro skater 1 + 2 rather than the underground series. Pro skater is more of an arcade style, whereas underground have their own stories. Underground 2 being the better of the 2, with the likes of Bam Margera from Jackass and some other pretty cool features like weeman.
I’ll not spoil it too much though, but 100% give it a go, absolute gem of a game
Watching this and your love for white consoles just reminded me I have a ceramic white ps3 fat. I had it imported from Japan years ago but it broke and has been boxed away ever since. Console looked perfect at time of boxing but the 2 white controllers slightly discoloured. My Dreamcast yellowed also even though it wasn't exposed to daylight. Any idea how to restore the colour? All I've seen on you tube is taking them apart and using peroxide or something but I don't fancy attempting it.
