- सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कोलकाता कांड को लेकर स्वतः संज्ञान ले लिया है. कोलकाता के आरजी कर मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल में हुई ट्रेनी डॉक्टर के रेप- हत्या के मामले की सुनवाई सुप्रीम कोर्ट में होगी. कोर्ट ने इस पर स्वतः संज्ञान लिया है. मंगलवार 20 अगस्त को सुप्रीम कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश डीवाई चंद्रचूड़, न्यायमूर्ति जेबी, पारदीवाला और न्यायमूर्ति मनोज मिश्रा की पीठ इस मामले की सुनवाई करेगी.मंगलवार को सीजेआई जस्टिस डीवाई चंद्रचूड़, जस्टिस जेबी पारदीवाला और जस्टिस मनोज मिश्रा की पीठ सुबह पहले इसी मामले पर सुनवाई करेगी. हालांकि मंगलवार को सुनवाई के लिए तय मुकदमों की सूची में 66 वें नंबर पर है, लेकिन उसमें विशेष उल्लेख है कि पीठ इसे प्राथमिकता पर सुनेगी.
