Looks like theres been a some thought put into the design of the hammock it's just a shame it's short in lenght, it's a shame because there are lots of budget hammocks out there and they are all short in lenght.
Possibly designed in the far east.
    Great review jim✌

I agree. They narrow the market by making it that size. 100cm longer and it would fit anyone. Thanks for watching.

      1m longer? 😂
It’s built by French for French. Remember the XL mat in decathlon is 1m95. Apart from Scandinavians and Americans, we don’t go much father up than that lol
Plus America has a ton of companies already and the Norwegians have the Draumr. Yeah not cheap but they don’t need budget friendly stuff as much. As 1m71 Portuguese I’m pretty happy with it

Thanks for Demo'ing the hammock, I have a fair bit of Solognac kit, it's predominantly for hunters, but a lot of it works well for camping and bush craft as well, I have a fair few of their pouches.

I have seen a few people put sticks between the tree and a rope like that to stop the tree getting damaged, it seems to work but why bother when you have decent tree straps! I will be passing on the link to this vid to a couple of people as the slidey roll mat issue can be a nightmare and this company has solved that. Great vid, thanks for sharing.

I really like the idea behind this hammock. only one out there with sleeping pad pockets instead of a full double layer AFAIK.
I do think that it is probably better if you hang it a lot tighter than a usual gathered end hammock, though I know this was only a first impressions video and I havent watched all the vids you use it on.
For 45€ it's hard to beat such a hammock. I dislike that both this and the basic hammock came without proper tree hugging straps, but ig it's to make it cheaper?
One wind has a double layered one for 60 and 70€, so It might be worth it instead of buying this and then spending extra on the suspension system. BUT onewind outsources to china and this is made in France I think, so that's better.

Why not stick your feet into that foot pocket as well?
That'd solve the feet almost out of the hammock issue I reckon...
I'll probably cut those out and repurpose the material, my reason for potentially purchasing this would be to use as a kind of overhammock layer, I have a sleeping bag pod system and this would be a waterproofed outer layer for that predominantly,
    Down bag(If needed)>Inner hammock>pod around that>this around pod.
But it's a very thoughtful feature they've got there 👍
