@Tommynatorium i don't know about the the 'norco' ..guess they don't sell it here in Belgium... I'd go for a scott gambler for downhill probably..but as a freeride beginner you can choose so many ways to go..the voltage fr gives me that little extra breathing-space, developing skill on a bike with a bike more tunability. Afterwards i still can go for an other like you did. That's the awesome thing about this voltage fr..it's tunable for many occassions , so you can learn alot on 1 bike .
I want the Scott Voltage FR 30 2011. I want to be able to run downhill a rougher riding without breaking the bike and this bike is ideal for that since you can adjust the travel on this one, awesome!

You only want downhill , go for a true downhillbike , like fe. a gambler . That said, a downhillbike isn't that ideal for biketrails and freeriding, although it's also possible , but has totally different specs of bike. But the voltage fr is a great one to start of with your freeride-adventures.
@Petegrin1 depends what riding you doo. i do mainly dh and freeride and have a 241 eye to eye rc4 on mine with the long shock mount. have totems on it nall. i really reccomend this bike its emence!

Just to note, if you want to order the shock mounts for a different length of shock make sure you order in lots of time!!! 6 Weeks im goin to have to wait, so my nice new shock wont be in for ages, and they arnt even cheap. Thumbs up for a great bike but poor service Scott.
Whats the different betweeen the fr 30 and the fr 20? the fr 20 is more expensive and what i heard its better, but why is the fr20 better then then fr30?

Or does it maybe matter what kind of i want to change it to, for example a FOX Van R or Fox Float? What shock size do Scott use for there Voltage FR? I would really Appreciate a answer!
