Putting your pencils in undertone order makes selecting colors easier but looks like a challenge to put them away correctly so they are ready to do selections the next time.
I just went to Amazon and added up all the sets together. They are not on sale from what I see...all of them add up to about 130.00. I think prismacolor are about 136.00. So this explains the quality of Black Widows. Personally, I think they are so close to prismas that I don't think they are budget. Buying them in sets that don't repeat, is really helpful for me. I can look forward to a new tin each month!! So far I have 80!! I really like them!!
The advantage of the Black Widows are that you can buy the sets as you can afford them and continue to add on until you have all the colors. I really love mine and used to consider them a budget set. Of course if you’re going to purchase all the sets at once, it goes way beyond what I’d consider the cost of a budget set and puts you more in line with the cost of a 150 set of Prismacolors. You do get 30 more colors in the complete Black Widow set though so that may be a factor to consider if you’re someone who likes lots of beautiful colors. I have both Prismacolors and all the Black Widows and like each for different reasons. The two sets also perform differently in different coloring books on different papers.
To me, BW are on the higher end of budget, and the lower end of artist or professional. I think the fact you can also buy BW in proper art stores say something about the quality. I love them ❤
Yes I only have digital downloaded available on Etsy. You can, however, send the digital download to an office supply store and they can print it for you. Many of them have an online service where you can upload it then go pick it up.

Do you have a chart similar for arteza 120? I am color blind so I really struggle with undertones but I love those pencils!
I don’t have one for Arteza. I never made one because the 120 set has been so difficult to get.
What paper do you use for swatching?
Most often the Springhill paper.
