Welcome to this flight review of an Easyjet Airbus A319 on a flight from London Gatwick to Edinburgh.
One of Easyjet's first routes connected London, England and Edinburgh, Scotland way back in 1995 from their home at Luton airport. Fast forward to 2019 and the airline has grown massively, so what is it like to fly with one of Europe's largest low cost airlines on a UK flight? Stick around for my final thoughts at the end of the review.

Keep up the good work, only recently found your channel and its nice to see the economy reviews as there are lots of other ones on TH-cam that are 1st or business class. While it's great to see them i really like your economy class ones because that's what me and my family can afford on our trips away.
I am glad that you enjoy the economy flights. The aim of the channel has always been to show what flying is like for the majority of travellers. Not saying I will never try premium but economy will always come first.

Fantastic flight report. The north terminal bridge is really nice and I would like to take pictures from there. It would be great if Easyjet is flying from LGW to MAN because I want to fly FDH-LGW-MAN-GVA with British Airways, easyJet and Jet2 B757 but unfortunately they don't fly to MAN. The price for your flight is absolutely okay. Thanks for sharing your experience

After 11 minutes with all my attention, I must say that it's INCREDIBLE how you improved your videos. They look extremely professional. Very good structured, nice music that fits perfectly the video, stable images and good mix between you and voice-over.
If you want a modest recommendation, I would start focusing also a little bit more on what you see through the window. I mean, the landscapes. The reason for this is because eventually, you will reach a point where you will have already flown with all the airlines, and maybe you will start to repeat the same about their interiors and services. So if you add something that it's always different in every flight, like the landscapes that you can see from time to time, all videos will look different even if you fly with the same airline all the time. It's just an idea, but I think it worked for me.

Great video Blake! Easyjet was the airline of the first ever flight I took when my mum took me to London for a weekend. After that I have never flown with them before, but it seems like I definitely should whenever I am back in Europe! Have a good weekend!

Great video! Flew Easyjet for the first time in October from Edinburgh and enjoyed it. I'm flying with them at the end of April on their A319 so it's nice to see what that product is like!

Great video as always Blake, have you looked into flying with 'WOW air', flying from Stansted to Reykjavík? To tick off on your European budget airline review list. Airfares starting from under £30 one way, checking out Stanstead that's closer to Brum than Gatwick.
WOW Air is on my list. I travelled to Keflavik in December so not planning on heading back too soon but for sure one day.

Nice review as always. I Didn’t know know the Austrian registered aircraft were operating within the UK.
It was a surprise to me too. I guess the aircraft are moved where needed at certain times of year etc.
Blake Edgington - Airborne At the moment both G and OE registered aircraft can operate anywhere within the EU. The HB ones have more restrictions. However after 30th March this will likely all change, and the G registered will only be able to operate UK based flights. Some smart brexit-proofing by easyJet, unlike BA!

Very helpful as I am flying with easyJet on the 31st but from Edinburgh down to Basel one way a320 the other way a319. Almost the whole family also how do u check the age of an aircraft?

Why is there two flight numbers
Easy Jet needs to get up to speed with the catering as that is essential you must be able to Feed your passengers
The aircraft was catered as best as possible in a short time due to a late aircraft change. I personally was grateful to avoid a longer delay on what was a pretty quick trip.
Wish easyJet would expand out of Birmingham tbh
Would be nice but with Ryanair and Jet2 having a large presence already I am not sure it will happen.
