    You don't even have to open PS ;-)
    Dehaze is available for brush, graduated & radial filter in LR, so no problem to apply it twice only for the selected part of the image :-)

    Hi Irene, was pointed here from Jason's video of you two. Just wanted to point out to the flash trolls, that Flash is just another tool. Like polarisers, lens hoods, reflectors and so on. Just because you CAN use something doesn't mean you HAVE to.

      Well, if any of Fedora folks give you grief, just point them over to our FB group. We'll sort 'em out. For the record, I shoot street, so no flash, and studio which is ALL flash. Tools for the situation.

    Maybe I missed the *DISCLAIMER* addressing that this ‘lens flare’ is most certainly NOT from the original photograph? It will certainly cause frustration to many users as they notice their ACTUAL lens flare is only partially repaired. It's wonderful to teach a basic use of this awesome tool (and you do it quite well), but let your audience know that this is a simulated lens flare for the purpose of teaching

    • @IreneRudnyk
      @IreneRudnyk  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is certainly not a simulated lens flare, I shot this in a very sunny day, without the lens hood, and this is what I got in camera.

    Digital Film Tools has a (de)haze filter that comes with their suite of filters for Photoshop and After Effects. It has a good many tools that permit increase/ reduction of individual colour channels. DFT is a superb collection of filters.

    Good tutorial, but the best way to get rid of flare is to use a lens hood and/or use something like your hand to shade the lens so it doesn't happen in the first place. Good technique when shooting will save you time when you process the image.

    • @IreneRudnyk
      @IreneRudnyk  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course, there are multiple ways to prevent this in camera, but this is for those times when you didn't. Everyone makes mistakes

      Guy Wright In the BTS video she does show that she was using various things to try and reduce the lense flare. Stuff happens that's why you figure out ways to fix them.

    This is not real lens flare, its just the lack of a hood. A lens flare is MUCH more "dominant"

    This video is outdated. It's 2023. 5 years ago, Adobe PS was very different. Why do PS gurus think the technology never changes and never get rid of their outdated videos? Because they still make money on useless technology.
