    Extremely grateful for such channels, where people talk about their mental issues. I have been suffering from anxiety and major depressive disorder for a long time. It gives me hope that I'm not alone with these issues. Nobody in my house or family wants to talk about it . Thanks a lot for doing it.

      Hi Venkatesh, thank you. It is really good that you write and you don’t need to share until you’re ready. What is important is that you are expressing in a healthy manner. Take your time, Rome wasn’t built in a day!

      Sneha Kher but how to identify normal angry or something else, sometimes I feel one themselves may not know that is depression people just express and without awareness they take it wrong.

    • @zenbraintv
      @zenbraintv  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Venkatesh, thank you for your comment here! Yes, it does take time to share and there is absolutely no rush at all to do so. But like we have said earlier, even if you think things are getting a little out of hand in terms of anger, it's worth seeking professional help just to make sure that there's nothing more to it! It may just be a passing low phase (and am sure we all have them!) or it may be something else. You'll never till you get good professional help! We wish you all the best ...and remember you are not alone! There are many like you going through these confusing times and sometimes opening up to friends can go a long way too.

    I am also suffering from Bipolar disorder. Currently I am in a very deep depressive phase from past 1 week. I am under treatment. I left my medicines in between which led to relapse. I am under doctor's guidance now. But right now I am feeling very helpless and constant thoughts that this is incurable and I am going nowhere. How can I help myself ?

    • @zenbraintv
      @zenbraintv  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Ravi...first of all thank you for writing in. We are so happy to hear about the fact that DESPITE your low phase, you were able to go back to your Doctor and are under treatment. This is wonderful as you have begun taking control of your life. We have interviewed many patients who are now leading normal lives, working full time , are in happy relationships and some are even married with children and are doing quite well. Just like we cannot predict when we are going to fall ill, neither can you predict your extreme moods. With time, you learn HOW to control it BETTER. The ones who are known to have positive results are those that have fought on, exercise or walk regularly, have a hobby that they can turn to...and those that make it a point to (on a regular basis) look at the positive side of life. There is much to be grateful for in this life Ravi. Never ever forget that. We are so happy you are making this world a better place.

    • @zenbraintv
      @zenbraintv  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ravi also one of the things we highly recommend is joining or even creating a support group of people suffering from similar issues. We've been told it's one of the most helpful things to do. Talk to each other.
