At 48:54, I think it was a good play to crack the clue since you could flip the morph for WW if you just would have tapped differently. I think you gaining 2 on that and the following turns would have made a huge difference to the game.
I think putting in 2 tapped lands only for the surveil and making technician flip up a bit more easily is not worth it.
It cost you two games. Granted one of them you were severly mana screwed, but had a bit of a chance for stabilizing that one turn you drew the tapped land.
you forgot the game where he severely flooded and scryed 2 additional lands away which at that point is basically like drawing a card
not sure its right to play both, cause he kinda does want to curve out, but Id definitely play one at least
Dog is nice this early in the format because you can play it and attack and sometimes the opponent doesn’t realize they can’t flip their disguise creatures on the block

Question: if Aurelia's Vindicator is disguised and targeted by a spell, if you flip it after the disguise creature ward cost is paid would the op need to pay the additional 2 ward as well?
nope, it's only when it's initially targeted

I had a very similar deck recently, with 2 private eyes and the cloak. First game was a tight loss to another agressive deck that ce down to a top deck war. Second game started a 2 land hand with both colours, a couple of 2 drops and the rest all great 3 drops... no land draws till turn 6. Last game 3 land start... drew only tempo cards vs my opponent's big morphs and infinite removal 😢

42:27 I don’t know Magic’s history at all but I like when creatures with certain statlines are referred to as old cards. In Hearthstone you’ll hear of cards being a yeti/spider tank/river croc

they used to have an expected CMC associated with them; but that's a thing of the past with power creep
Gray ogre is 3 mana 2/2, hill giant is 4 mana 3/3, there's also grizzly bears for 2 mana 2/2 and savannah lions for 1 mana 2/1, goblin piker for 2 mana 2/1... probably a lot more
Anyone else see when the red herring in game three didn’t attack the turn it came down??? Doesn’t it have haste and must attack each combat?
