But how creative can you get? At some point things will eventually start looking similar, there has to some sort of ceiling in stadium design for the interior. I believe you can be far more creative with the exterior vs the interior, but you probably can only go so far with the interior. As long as the exterior stands out, then that's all you can really expect.
I think you can reflect the team more in the interior. Atlanta did a great job of this in their stadium (one of the end zone seating areas looks like the wing of a falcon). You can also place the upper suites closer to the field, and have all the suites and club seating at field level, and the rest of the seats above the suites going into the rafters. Floating sections is also a cool idea, too.

Like HKS designed sofi, us bank, Lucas oil and at@t stadium other than all 4 being domes they all look nothing alike and all are unique. I hope manica doesn't get picked anymore in the future.
I'm not sure why their interiors are similar. My guess is that Manica think this works the best for ingress/egress and viewing. While HKS is great, I personally am partial to HOK and Populous. Populous is doing the new Bills stadium (also did State Farm Stadium). HOK is doing the Jags and they did Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Populous does a great job of building a nice looking facility that feels both practical to its market, fits its market, and making a stadium that's primary function is sports. HOK is able to build stadiums that are both beautiful and unique, like HKS, but also like practical to the city's metro area, like Populous. If taxpayers are paying for these facilities that cost billions upon billions of dollars, might as well get your money's worth by hosting a variety of events besides 10 Padded Rugby home games a year. Roofs make that possible.
nice
Don't Forget Dallas Cowboys "AT & T Stadium "Jerry's World"
Only thing missing in bears new stadium the AL Davis torch.
THIS IS WHY I DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE THINKING BUILDING ANOTHER OPEN AIR STADIUM IN BUFFALO. THIS IS THE LICK. THIS IS WHAT U BUILD IF YOU WANNA HOST A SUPERBOWL AND OR HOST EVENTS YEAR ROUND. THESE NEW AND FUTURE STADIUMS IS WHAT U GET BUILT. ANOTHER “OPEN AIR” HIGHMARK STADIUM? THEY ARE LEAVING MONEY ON THE TABLE IN BUFFALO.
can you not put backround music? It's way too distracting and loud
It sucks NFL football is moving 100% indoors. No wonder the running back is a dying breed... Rip full backs I remember you..
NFL is a one player league. Has been for about twenty-five years. I am not saying I like that, but that is how it is.
I don’t care for the background music on the video.
How lucrative will these super bowl hosting stadiums be once everyone has one?
I don't know. The Super Bowl used to be played in the South (Miami or New Orleans) or in college football stadiums. When everyone has the same thing, what value does each individual city have?
Green Bay will never host one.
What if you got rid of the middle deck in the endzones and had a window and the upper and lower decks went all the way around instead?
Loud ass music, I picked up I think 3 words in this video.
You're killing me with the mispronunciation of Jaguars.
The NFL and it's fans are soft. Domes were terrible. Translucent roofs are terrible. Football should be played outside.
If taxpayers and cities are paying for these billion dollar facilities, they might as well get their money's worth by hosting a variety of events besides 10 Padded Rugby home games a year. Roofs make that possible.
@@HoshizakiYoshimasa I was unaware that it was impossible to hold concerts, monster truck events, and other sporting events outdoors.
If it looks good, who the hell cares if it looks the same as something else
@@maxkeebs4425 That's true.
That background music hurts my ear. Turn it off.
SoFi is going to age like MetLife Stadium. Come back to this comment in 10 years.
Will do but elaborate what you mean
@@MentorlZoryea MetLife was regarded as a very modern and great stadium when it opened but it's aged like milk. It was supposed to have a canopy too (making it even more like SoFi) but I think they held off due to the cost. Besides the roof and the round screen (which won't be state of the art in 10 years) it's just another stadium.
SoFi was build by the same firm that made AT&T Stadium. AT&T is still heralded, and it's like 15 years old.
@@maxkeebs4425 AT&T is a much better design than SoFi. It'll probably end up being a future classic venue being the first super stadium and all.
@@91_C4_FL Curious, why do you think the design is better?
Depressed Ginger, you're an exceptional commentator... please do away with the irritating background music.
Please lower the music. By a lot
Please get the music out of the videos. I liked the old style bro
Fuck those roofs. It should be limited to one team a division with permanent roofes
If taxpayers are paying for these billion dollar facilities that only are used for 10 home games, they might as well get their money's worth by hosting a variety of events besides American Football. Roofs make that more possible
The problem is manica, they designed all three of these stadiums and they are just too lazy to think outside of the box on the inside and then they just copy unique features like Nashville's bar/balcony that fits the city of Nashville with all the rooftop bars( that they specifically asked for so it can be the stadium of Nashville), like why the hell does bears stadium have the same damn thing on the sides. Nashville has it for a reason, bears just have it. It's all manica's fault.
HOK's stadium interiors also usually have some type of diversity compared to the other firms.
@@maxkeebs4425 I loved what hok did in Atlanta especially considering it was their first ultra modern stadium they did. They have some nice designs. Yea I don't know what manica are thinking but it starts to look basic. They can at least change the roof design to be different
@@Donster2 Manica also designed the Chargers desired downtown stadium when they were in San Diego. It wasn't built, obviously, but if you look at the design, it looks very similar to these other stadiums, too. The only thing that is different is it was outdoors with a retractable roof.
Don’t lump the Raiders into this, it’s not their fault other teams want to copy them
Nothing is unique anymore.
Everything is gentrified and made to look the same.
Damn :(
THE MUSIC MAKES IT THAT MUCH MORE EPIC DG!
I miss the identity /:
Neo-cookie cutter
Bears is not $2.2 bil . That's just bears share . It's well over $ 4 billion
What’s with the music😂
Music is too loud DG
Buffalo stadium is the only one that sucks
All boring cookie cutter crap.
I can see a future within the next 30 or 50 years. 80% of more Stadiums will have a dome roofs. which i don't have a issue with them. If i live in a state that has NFL team. i would love to have a dome roof at the stadiums
Stop that stupid, distracting background music.
Stop woth the music
