I just dusted mine off with new bats and a usb-c flashcard dongle. Back in the day I got mine new for around $1700 in American Express reward points. It is a pleasure to use. A time machine in both the user experience as well as the photo character. I really appreciate the machine gun full auto rapid fire mode for almost guaranteeing a good pose. I miss that in the smart phone cam. People behave differently or respond differently to being photographed by an official looking camera like the D20.
Hi, the 40D is the best out of the three, in every way. The 20D and 30D are basically the same when it comes to image quality, the 30D has a better screen and some small improvements. Thanks for watching!

The difference between the 40D and 50D isn't that big, I don't know which one is best for portraits. 150 for a 40D seems a bit high. Around 50-80 for one in good condition is common.
Back in the day i had quite a few cameras, and i have had those three. Out of the 3 the 30d was my favorite, because of the nicest rendering and colors. I might seem like a little upgrade on paper over the 20 D but it was a completely different experience. It just worked and the 20d did not. The 40d was the best on paper, but did nothing for me. It was bland and boring, and owned only half a year. I sold it and went to Sony. I still use that.
I als still have my 20d, which I bought new back in 2006.

Your 20d is amazingly clean! Such a fantastic camera. I've taken some of my favorite photos with the 20d

There's no video, I think the 60D was the first with video.
