There’s a place nearby my home that I’ve lived in since I was little that’s so special to my heart and visiting it all year round is great but the magic of spring time and seeing all the trees, flowers, birds and fish come alive in the spring is undeniably my favourite. The first hint of it is always the mulberry trees producing, it’s such a short season and I’ve always grieved it’s end because I enjoy it so much and am so sad to see the joy end so fast but I followed your videos and made some jam which has allowed us to prolong our joy for a time further. My mother even replaced the jar of jam in the fridge that she bought at the store with one that I made. Thank you for sharing your time and skills.
Hi Renea!!! I really enjoyed this video today. That looked so...Yummy. Bet it tasted so...good. Thanks for showing us another great recipe. A fan&friend. DiDi
to keep your fingers from staining from the mulberry put on a plastic glove, I use it to pick them, I use the super thin ones so you can easily pick and work with the berries and keep ;your fingers clean.
Thank you for sharing. How to make your Mulberry jelly. Was so beautiful looking. Canned jelly is the best. My mama had a tree in her yard. But she never made jelly. She said that it was good. We're just eat the berries off of the tree. You and family have a wonderful weekend.
Thank you for answering all my tedious questions. I really appreciate that . I think that’s why I watch you. You have such a wonderful sense of humour. Your lifestyle is the same as mine. I love to garden, cook, can and be with my grand babies. I was brought up in the Niagara fruit belt. Jam is my middle name. I grow grapes and love making grape jam. Thank you for all your amazing videos. I made your creamy Mac and cheese for my grand daughter and she inhaled it.lol😍
I would love to pick some mulberries, when I was younger I picked many, many, many wild blackberries and I did not even care about the scratches of the thorns of the wild blackberries plants but... 3844 miles away... you are right... it's a little "bit" far away 😉 3844 miles if I were a bird because it is measured in a straight line from Lisbon / Europe to Kaleva, MI. 😄
Hello great video. I think i had mulberry jam when i was little around 5 or so and that was it i know it is good lol. Looks good and i am finally getting some cucumbers growing. I will try to do a video tomorrow. Thank you for sharing God bless stay safe and have a wonderful day.
You do it the same as I do, right down to cutting the certo open and putting it in a cup. Only difference is I sterilize my jars in the oven. I also use the butter.
What a beautiful looking jam. I must tell the truth and admit I had to google what a mulberry looked and tasted like. I know, you are thinking what rock have I been hiding under. Growing up on the east coast of Canada(Cape Breton Island) maybe it isn't something that grows there.... I am not really sure. I was; however, clueless. I will now be asking everyone if they have a mulberry tree. Thanks for posting another great video.
That looks really good Renea . Have a great weekend. I have some mulberry trees but do little with them. The black raspberries always ripen about the same time. Grandma Sue in central Indiana and Izzi Too
Thank you for this jam making video. We have a mulberry tree in our backyard that half of it grows on the neighbor behind us so I don't think I'd have enough berries to make jam.
Thank you for showing me this. We have a mulberry tree in our yard. Okay, you freeze the berries and bang them around inside the freezer bag to loosen those stems on the inside? I'm just making sure I've got this right.
Isn’t it the best when you’ve gone through all that work and see all these beauties sitting on your counter? ❤️
Yes it is a wonderful feeling....

I have a mulberry tree however the birds get them before I can. How do you keep the birds away?
My trees are huge and the birds don't seem to bother them at all.
Yummy!❤️😊
Never had mulberries
wow, that's an amazing amount of sugar, I think I will stick to the low sugar pectin
What does a mulberry taste like?
Like a blackberry just sweeter.
