Maybe make a CubeSkills practice drill about AUF reduction when necessary. For instance, during F2L I am moving the U layer a lot looking for pieces during a speedsolve. I would greatly appreciate if you would do this for people who are willing to improve their time and TPS!
You could have left out that piece, stopped the timer, and accepted a +2. It was an internal piece that didn't have any colored bits on it, and it doesn't affect the solves state.

I have a Cube that looks like a fisher Cube but doesn't shapeshifter and at the end of the edges the corners a cut so it isn't connected to the edge piece
