We know you mean best, but when a person gets a world record, YOU GIVE THEM SPACE. Nothing is more annoying that a mob of excited pre-teens trying to get their 2 seconds of fame in front of the famous dude. Just be nice, and dont be rude. Please.

Jamster monix bro - chill out, kids can be especially annoying. I’m a child too, but if someone smashes a record I won’t scream my head off any run up to his table. The judge’s mind was probably going crazy and he might’ve forgot he needed to sign the scorecard.

Was there a delegate at this event? And if so, why is there no enforcement of the rules to where that kid that is talking to Feliks during his solves is somehow penalized or asked to leave? The WCA should enforce those rules and deal with this behavior more seriously, I think.

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS FELIKS.
Now, If you're one of the kids who screams and overreact at comps, do everyone a favor and be quiet. Not only that its annoying, its also a serious disturbance to the competitors solving at the moment. Especially solver like feliks.
Be happy, we dont stop you from that but just remember whenever you're at a comp,
1. Dont talk loudly to your friends while standing infront of a solving competitor
2. Dont scream whenever theres a good solve (juat dont scream in general). Feliks is not the only solver in the room
3. Dont talk to solvers when theyre about to or in the middle of a solve.
And as an extra, dont scream "world record". Youre not the ONLY one who notices it. Its just annoying.
I know kids tends to overhype alot because youre full of adrenaline when excited but try your best to control yourself and be considerate.

Personally I wanna say all 3. That was a crazy average. Also I think I've seen complaining about the people high giving - that's not a big deal. That can't be a big deal. They're respectfully congratulating someone who just set a world record. Those 7 year olds who run up and wave high TH-cam need to have just a bit less soda. We could see Feliks' anger with the kids, and it makes sense. I'm aggravated just watching these videos with all of them
Parker Orndorf I think the WCA should enforce the rules to that competitors like that kid that will not shut up while someone else is solving should get suspended or somehow penalized. Maybe he and others would get the hint and stop if they are asked to leave for “unsportsmanlike conduct” for the rest of the event.

It's pretty simple. If a competitor (ANY competitor, not just the world class folks) is sitting at a table in front of a stackmat, whether a cube is sitting ready to inspect or not...do not speak to them and give them space.
Here, Feliks hit a WR and naturally stood up for celebration and that's cool. Get it out of your system!
